The grand finale of the fourth season of the Next Designer Award empowered by Visa took place in Almaty. Among 15 emerging designers from different regions of Kazakhstan, the most creative and talented were recognized as the duo from Almaty – Dmitry Khalitov and Maria Nesterova. Their collection, dedicated to ecology and sustainable development, earned them the main prize – a $10,000 grant from Visa for the creation of their collection and free participation in Visa Fashion Week Almaty pre-fall 2025. Additionally, the second place was awarded to Asem Urunbayeva, who received the opportunity to showcase her collection at Saks Fifth Avenue, while third place went to Alua Akimkozha and Takhmina Mangasarova, who won participation in Visa Fashion Week Tashkent pre-fall 2025, along with free airfare and accommodation during the trip.

Финал IV сезона конкурса молодых дизайнеров Next Designer Award empowered by Visa прошел в Алматы. Среди 15 начинающих авторов коллекций из различных регионов Казахстана самой креативной и талантливой была признана коллаборация алматинцев Дмитрия Халитова и Марии Нестеровой. Авторы коллекции, посвященной экологии и устойчивому развитию, получили главный приз – грант на сумму 10 000 USD от Visa на создание своей коллекции и бесплатное участие в Visa Fashion Week Almaty pre-fall 2025. Добавим, что II место заняла Асем Урынбаева, получившая возможность выставить свою коллекцию в Saks Fifth Avenue, а III место присудили коллаборации Алуа Акимкожа и Тахмины Мангасаровой – дизайнеры выиграли участие в Visa Fashion Week Tashkent pre-fall 2025, а также бесплатные авиабилеты и проживание на время поездки.

The creative competition among Kazakhstan's emerging fashion industry talents was organized for the fourth time by Visa Fashion Week Almaty with the support of Visa. The contest's final took place in the breathtaking and historically significant venue – the Abay Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theatre. Here, the top three winners were awarded, along with special prizes for outstanding participants, including:

Additionally, a special prize – a two-hour webinar from the international exhibition White Milano, a key venue for top Italian and international brands, advertising agencies, top buyers, renowned designers, and promising young talents – was awarded to the talented designer Asem Urunbayeva.

More and more truly gifted young designers are participating in our competition, shaping a new generation of promising professionals. Looking at these collections, I see a new wave of fashion stars, rightfully dreaming of careers, success, and recognition. With each season, we are getting closer to our goal – the development of a competitive and diverse creative industry in Kazakhstan,” said Baurzhan Shadibekov, General Director of Visa Fashion Week.

The fourth season's finale of the Next Designer Award empowered by Visa featured 15 talented designers whose ideas and creativity captivated the judges. The creative competition turned into a kaleidoscope of fashion revelations, a hotspot for innovative design and fresh ideas. The brightest talents, striving to make a positive impact on the world, competed for valuable prizes and gained recognition from the esteemed jury.

В финал IV сезона Next Designer Award empowered by Visa прошли 15 талантливых дизайнеров, чьи идеи и креативность покорили судей. Творческое соревнование между ними превратилось в калейдоскоп дизайнерских откровений, эпицентр модных новаторств и креативных идей. Авторы самых свежих идей, желающие изменить мир к лучшему, соперничали за ценные призы и получили признание судейской коллегии.

The jury evaluated the participants based on several criteria: concept, originality and relevance, construction, materials and forms, color scheme, and overall collection coherence. The panel of judges included renowned representatives of Kazakhstan’s fashion industry:
