On December 20, a presentation of JAECOO J7 took place in Almaty. New stylish crossovers from the Middle Kingdom from the ex-team of Jaguar Land Rover will be available at OMODA & JAECOO dealerships in Kazakhstan from January 2024.

As ASTER, the official distributor of JAECOO in Kazakhstan, assures: “The J7 is perfect for city roads. The road assistant system will protect the driver from getting dangerously close to a passing car in traffic, providing ideal visibility and control of position in the lane. A 540° view (full all-round + 180° vertical) with a transparent car chassis display allows you to fully monitor the situation around and under the car, and also makes parking and maneuvering in tight spaces as convenient as possible.”

The JAECOO J7 was developed by former Jaguar Land Rover lead engineer Peter Matkin and therefore meets the expectations of the modern driver. It has a memory for seat settings. Comfortable, roomy seats are upholstered in eco-leather and heated. A large, adjustable 14.8-inch screen with a touchscreen emphasizes the style of the car and makes it comfortable to drive. Under the hood, the JAECOO J7 is equipped with a modern turbo engine. The working volume is 1.6 liters, its characteristics are close to those of 2.5-liter engines. Power is 197 hp. s., and the torque reaches an impressive 275 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7DCT robotic transmission with two clutches. This 98% efficient transmission delivers shifts in just 0.2 seconds and ranks among the top 10 best transmissions in the world.

The cars will be available for sale from January 2024 at official OMODA & JAECOO dealerships throughout Kazakhstan. The cost of the car for the basic configuration has not yet been announced. But Aster claims that future car owners will have advantageous offers through the Trade-in system when exchanging an old car for a new one and interest-free installments. This will allow you to purchase a cult new product without hesitation.
