SO/ Maldives, the third resort of the CROSSROADS Maldives multi-island complex, will open in November 2023

S Hotels and Resorts PCL, the hospitality division of leading real estate developer Singha Estate PCL, announces the upcoming opening of SO/ Maldives as part of the CROSSROADS Maldives multi-island complex. The hotel will welcome its first guests in November 2023.

The $60 million project was developed by S Hotels and Resorts PCL in partnership with leading business and real estate conglomerate Wai Eco World Developer (WEWD). Trendy brand SO/ Hotels & Resorts will make its first appearance in the Maldives, and the resort will be part of the Ennismore Collection, an international collection of lifestyle hotel brands.

SO/ Maldives is located on a picturesque island surrounded by the turquoise Embudu lagoon, a 15-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by a stylish overwater pavilion with panoramic windows that defines the hotel's aesthetic concept, where cool neutral tones and natural wood contrast with bright accents in the interior, and walkways framed by fabrics and unusual wooden canopies resemble fashion catwalk scenery, effectively standing out on background of the natural landscape of the island.

По прибытии гостей будет встречать стильный надводный павильон с панорамными окнами, определяющий эстетическую концепцию отеля, где прохладные нейтральные тона и натуральное дерево контрастируют с яркими акцентами в интерьере, а пешеходные дорожки в обрамлении тканевых полотен и необычных деревянных навесов напоминают декорации модных подиумов, эффектно выделяясь на фоне природного ландшафта острова.

The resort will offer 80 individually designed villas in eight categories ranging from 120 to 330 sq. m, located on a white sandy beach or over the ocean, including the Lagoon Water Pool Villa Collection - a water villa with an area of 120 sq. m, Three-Bedroom Ocean Water Pool Atelier - a luxurious three-bedroom villa with an area of 330 sq. m or a family beach villa Family Beach Pool Villa with Capsule with an area of 238 sq. m with a children's room in the form of a capsule. All villas are equipped with a private pool and include a personal butler who will take care of the comfort of guests during their stay. In addition, the villas are equipped with solar panels as part of the company's sustainable development strategy.

Курорт предложит 80 вилл восьми категорий с индивидуальным дизайном площадью от 120 до 330 кв. м, расположенных на белоснежном пляже или над океаном, в том числе Lagoon Water Pool Villa Collection – водную виллу площадью 120 кв. м, Three-Bedroom Ocean Water Pool Atelier – роскошную виллу с тремя спальнями площадью 330 кв. м или семейную пляжную виллу Family Beach Pool Villa with Capsule площадью 238 кв. м с детской комнатой в форме капсулы. Все виллы оснащены приватным бассейном и предусматривают услугу личного батлера, который будет заботиться о комфорте гостей во время пребывания. Кроме того, виллы оборудованы солнечными батареями в рамках стратегии устойчивого развития компании.

SO/ Maldives will present three main restaurant concepts: Lazuli Beach Club - a hybrid of a beach bar and lounge, a place where the most luxurious parties in the Maldives will be held, trendy DJs will perform in the evenings and live music will sound. At the Hadaba Restaurant you can taste gourmet Levantine cuisine, and at the Citronelle Club - Pan-Asian cuisine.

SO/ Maldives представит три основных ресторанных концепции: Lazuli Beach Club – гибрид пляжного бара и лаунджа, место, где будут проходить самые роскошные на Мальдивах вечеринки, по вечерам выступать модные диджеи и звучать живая музыка. В ресторане Hadaba можно будет попробовать изысканные блюда левантийской кухни, а в Citronelle Club – паназиатскую кухню. 

Guests can relax and unwind at the Wellness Camp with spa treatments, a hammam or a steam bath. For those who follow the physical form, there is a superbly equipped gym. Younger guests will enjoy The Nest Kids Club, while teenagers can enjoy The Zone, a separate playroom and outdoor terrace.

Отдохнуть и порелаксировать гости смогут в оздоровительном центре Wellness Camp, отправившись на спа-процедуры, в хаммам или паровую баню. Для тех, кто следит за физической формой, здесь есть великолепно оборудованный тренажерный зал. Юных гостей порадует детский клуб The Nest, а для подростков предусмотрено отдельное пространство The Zone с игровой комнатой и открытой террасой. 

SO/ Maldives will complement the CROSSROADS Maldives multi-island hotel collection - SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton and Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. All three resort islands are connected by footbridges to the main entertainment island - The Marina @ CROSSROADS - with many restaurants and bars, boutiques, a spa, a water sports center, diving and snorkelling, a kids club and a marina with 30 seats. In the marina, you can also visit the interactive museums Maldives Discovery Center and Marine Discovery Center and learn more about the rich natural and cultural heritage of the archipelago.
