Meet, On the big stage, a new star - baby Laysan Ismakova, who is only 5 years old, is conquering the music world. She is already a laureate of the International Festival of Creativity «Kazan Patterns» (Kazan, Russia), and recently released a new music video.

When Laysan was only 3 years old, she performed at the Fashion House International Kazakhstan international competition in Karaganda, where she received the main prize in the Best Singer nomination. In 2019, Laysan took part in the Kazan Patterns International Festival of Creativity (Kazan), where she performed “The Mammoth's Song” and won the II place. In the same year, she participated in the competition in the Republican competition "Salem Qazaqstan-2019!" (Nur-Sultan) and sang a very touching song called "Mom", so that the members of the jury and the audience in the hall burst into tears. In this competition, Laysan won the Grand Prix, and at that time she was 4 years old. Now in the repertoire of the 5-year-old singer the following compositions: «Cover of the song «Cuckoo», «Kasietti Dombyra», «Bau baқsha belder», «Uzhemnin shaiy», «Song of the mammoth», «Smile», «Mama knows», «148 princes», «Mom», «Vera» and others.

Когда Ляйсан было всего 3 года она выступила международном конкурсе Fashion House International Kazakhstan в Караганде, где она получила главный приз в номинации «Best Singer». В 2019 году Ляйсан принимала участие в Международном фестивале творчества «Казанские узоры» (г. Казань), где исполнила «Песенку мамонтенка» и завоевала II место. В том же году она участвовала в конкурсе в Республиканском конкурсе «Salem Qazaqstan-2019!» (г. Нур-Султан) и спела очень трогательную песню под названием «Мама», да так, что члены жюри и зрители в зале расплакались. В этом конкурсе Ляйсан завоевала Гран-при, и на тот момент ей было 4 года. Сейчас в репертуаре 5-тилетней певицы следующие композиции: «Кавер на песню «Кукушка», «Қасиетті Домбыра», «Бау бақша белдер», «Әжемнің шайы», «Песенка мамонтенка», «Улыбка», «Мама знает», «148 принцев», «Мама», «Вера» и другие.

The shooting of the video for the song «Kasietti Dombyra» took place in the House of Friendship (Karaganda) in December 2020. The composition is dedicated to the main musical instrument of the Kazakh people - dombra. The director and author of the idea for the video was Nuri Ryskulova, a famous Kazakhstani designer and mother of the talented Laysan. We learned from the mother of the little singer what a creative path the little star went through, and who saw this gift in her.

Съемки видео на песню «Қасиетті Домбыра» проходили в Доме дружбы (г. Караганда) в декабре 2020 года. Композиция посвящена главному музыкальному инструменту казахского народа – домбре. Режиссером и автором идеи клипа стала Нури Рыскулова, известный казахстанский дизайнер и мама талантливой Ляйсан. Мы узнали у мамы маленькой певицы, какой творческий путь прошла звездочка, и кто разглядел в ней этот дар.

When did Laysan first perform on the big stage?

«For the first time Laysan performed on the big stage when she was only 3 years old. It was at the Fashion House International Kazakhstan international competition in Karaganda, where she received one of the main prizes in her age category as a singer».

Когда Ляйсан впервые выступила на большой сцене?

«Впервые Ляйсан выступила на большой сцене, когда ей было всего 3 года. Это было на международном конкурсе Fashion House International Kazakhstan в Караганде, где она получила один из главных призов в своей возрастной категории как певица».

What singing contests did Laysan take part in? What awards does the little star have? «In 2019, she took part in the Kazan Patterns International Festival of Creativity, which was held in Russia, in the city of Kazan, Russia. There Laysan performed “The Song of the Mammoth” and won 2nd place. In the same year she took part in a competition in the capital of Kazakhstan and sang a very touching song "Mama", so much so that some members of the jury and the audience in the hall burst into tears. «В 2019 году она принимала участие в Международном фестивале творчества «Казанские узоры», который проходил в России, в городе Казань, Россия. Там Ляйсан исполнила «Песенку мамонтенка» и завоевала 2 место. В том же году она участвовала в конкурсе в столице Казахстана и исполнила очень трогательную песню «Мама», да так, что некоторые члены жюри и зрители в зале расплакались. В этом конкурсе Ляйсан завоевала Гран-при. На тот момент ей было 4 годика, но это не стало преградой».

Who was the first to realize that the baby has a singing talent?

«It was me. At the age of 3, I decided to take Laysan to the production center of the musician Alibek Salikov. He began to study with her, developed a voice, taught songs with her. At first, Laysan's repertoire included only children's compositions, after which the producer decided to switch to a more complex, adult repertoire, since Laysan coped with the tasks. Together with Alibek, they recorded more than 10 songs with different arrangements. Also, specially for Laysan, an author's song was written, which can be heard in the near future».

Кто первый разглядел в малышке певческий талант?

«Это была я (прим. мама певицы, Нури Рыскулова). В 3 года я решила отвести Ляйсан в продюсерский центр музыканта Алибека Саликова. Он начал с ней заниматься, разрабатывал голос, учил с ней песни. Сначала в репертуаре Ляйсан были только детские композиции, после продюсер решил перейти на более сложный, взрослый репертуар, поскольку Ляйсан справлялась с задачами. Вместе с Алибеком они записали более 10 песен с разными аранжировками. Также специально для Ляйсан была написана авторская песня, которую можно будет услышать в ближайшее время».

Recently, the video for Laysan was shot. Tell us more about the song, the team that worked on the filming process.

«We shot a video for the song «Kasietti Dombyra». Filming took place in the House of Friendship (Karaganda) in December 2020. This is a song about a Kazakh folk instrument that embodies the music of the steppe. We assembled the film crew very quickly, in 5 hours. We invited our dear grandmothers; Laysan invited her classmates and younger brother to take part in the filming of the video. The shooting lasted more than 5 hours. Maxim Udalov was the videographer. In the frame, on the table, there are real Kazakh national delicacies, and not just a prop. Treats are prepared by the staff of the restaurant «Nuri». All national costumes that you see in the video were provided by the Nurasem Fashion House.

Недавно состоялись съемки клипа Ляйсан. Расскажите подробнее о песне, команде, которая работала над съемочным процессом.

«Мы снимали клип на песню «Қасиетті Домбыра». Съемки проходили в Доме дружбы (г. Караганда) в декабре 2020 года. Это песня о казахском народном инструменте, олицетворяющем музыку степи. Съемочную команду мы собрали очень быстро, за 5 часов. Пригласили наших родных бабушек, Ляйсан позвала принять участие в съемках клипа своих одноклассников и младшего братика. Съемки продлились более 5 часов. Видеографом выступил Максим Удалов. В кадре, на столе, настоящие, казахские национальные лакомства, а не просто бутафория. Угощения приготовлены персоналом ресторана «Нури». Все национальные костюмы, которые вы видите в клипе, были предоставлены Домом моды «Нурасем».

Nuri, how do you feel about your daughter being very active on social media (Instagram, TikTok)?

«Positive, of course. I like the fact that she loves to sing, dance, be in the camera lens. She is not at all shy, she is not afraid of the stage. Laysan has a huge amount of energy, and I am glad that she directs her in a creative direction».

Нури, как вы относитесь к тому, что ваша дочь очень активна в социальных сетях (Instagram, TikTok)?

«Положительно, конечно же. Мне нравится, то, что она любит петь, танцевать, быть в объективе камер. Она совершенно не стесняется, не боится сцены. У Ляйсан огромное количество энергии, и я рада, что она направляет ее в творческое русло».

What else does Laysan like to do, besides singing?

«She likes karate, she doesn’t miss a single lesson. Laysan already has an orange belt with a blue stripe, this is also an achievement for a small child. By the way, I believe that this sport disciplines her. Laysan is also engaged in rhythmic gymnastics».

Чем ещё любит заниматься Ляйсан, помимо пения?

«Ей нравится каратэ, она не пропускает ни одного занятия. У Ляйсан уже оранжевый пояс с синей полоской, это тоже достижение для маленького ребенка. Кстати, я считаю, что этот вид спорта ее дисциплинирует. Еще Ляйсан занимается на художественной гимнастикой».

«She really likes the work of Erke Esmakhan: having listened to the song 3 times, she can already perform it by heart.From foreign artists she likes Morgenshtern, Danya Milokhin, the Zveri band and Valery Meladze».

Кто из артистов нравится Ляйсан?

«Ей очень нравится творчество Ерке Есмахан: прослушав 3 раза песню, она уже может исполнить ее наизусть. Из зарубежных артистов ей нравятся Моргенштерн, Даня Милохин, группа «Звери» и Валерий Меладзе».

With whom of the artists would Laysan like to record a duet?

«She herself says that with Danya Milokhin, Milana Filimonova and Milana Gogunskaya, these are her idols, she knows by heart almost all of their songs. Laysan really wants to record a duet with each of them, to meet in person and to communicate».

С кем из артистов Ляйсан хотела бы записать дуэт?

«Она сама говорит, что с Даней Милохиным, Миланой Филимоновой и Миланой Гогунской, ведь это ее кумиры, она знает наизусть практически все их песни. Ляйсан очень хочет записать с каждым из них дуэт, встретиться лично и пообщаться».

Now Laysan is studying vocals at the art school, learning to play the piano. The little artist plans new heights and international vocal competitions. And in her free time, she makes videos on TikTok, goes to classes in rhythmic gymnastics and karate.

Сейчас Ляйсан обучается вокалу в школе искусств, учится играть на фортепиано. В планах маленькой артистки новые вершины и международные вокальные конкурсы. А в свободное время она снимает видео в TikTok, ходит на занятия по художественной гимнастике и каратэ.
