Last weekend, a grandiose event took place in Almaty - the International Festival of Contemporary Dance Ballet Globe, which brought together the most talented choreographers and dancers from all over the world on the big stage of the Almaty Theatre, who demonstrated their own works to the audience. It should be noted that Almaty has become the cultural and tourism capital of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization for 2023-2024.

В минувшие выходные в Алматы состоялось грандиозное событие- Международный фестиваль современного танца Ballet Globe, который собрал  на большой сцене Almaty Theatreсамых талантливых хореографов и танцоров со всего мира, которые продемонстрировали зрителю свои собственные произведения. Отметим, что Алматы стал культурной и туристической столицей Шанхайской организации сотрудничества на 2023-2024 годы.

“This year the Ballet Globe International Festival decided to change its concept and draw the attention of city residents and connoisseurs of ballet art to the Contemporary style. This is a huge industry that is actively developing in Europe, America and Asia. At this Festival we will present to the audience the most amazing performances from world stages and, of course, the performers themselves. The Ballet Globe festival is unique in that it invites the viewer to enjoy not only classical forms of dance, but also to discover new horizons, perceptions of performance and expand consciousness. And I want to say that from what he sees on stage, the viewer will understand himself and may ask himself questions. Ah, this is the very goal of modern Art!” shares Erlan Andagulov, organizer and founder of the Ballet Globe company.

“Международный фестиваль Ballet Globe  в этом году решил поменять свою концепцию и обратить свое внимание жителей города и ценителям балетного искусства именно на стиль Контемпори. Это огромная индустрия, которая активно развивается в Европе,  Америке и в Азии. На этом Фестивале мы представим зрителю самые изумительные номера от мировых сцен и, конечно, самих исполнителей. Фестиваль Ballet Globe уникален тем, что предлагает зрителю насладиться не только классическими формами танца, но и открыть для себя новые горизонты, восприятия исполнения и расширить сознание. И хочу сказать, что от увиденного на сцене зритель разберется в себе и может сам себе задаст вопросы. А, это и есть сама цель современного Искусства!”-делится Ерлан Андагулов, организатор и основатель компании Ballet Globe. 

The international Ballet Globe festival, held annually in Kazakhstan, has already established itself as one of the most important events in cultural life. Working with the main theaters of the country, each season brings together the most stellar cast of ballet dancers on the stages. The opening of the new season was no exception; ballet dancers from Italy Sasha Riva and Simone Repele are visiting Almaty for the second time. A real gift was the arrival of iconic names in the world of ballet, leading soloists of the Netherlands Contemporary Theater NDT1 - Chloe Albaret, Roger Van der Poel and Olivier Coffard and Peter Chu, Leading soloists of the Royal Ballet of Flanders - Morgana Cappellari and Claudio Cagnalosi, Leading soloists of the Bolshoi Theater of Geneva - Simone Repele, Sasha Riva and Yumi Aizawa.

Международный фестиваль Ballet Globe, ежегодно проходящий в Казахстане, уже зарекомендовал себя, как одно из важнейших событий культурной жизни. Работая с главными театрами страны каждый сезон собирает на сценах самый звездный состав артистов балета. Открытие нового сезона не стало исключением, артисты балета из Италии Саша Рива и Симоне Репеле уже второй раз посещают Алматы.  Настоящим подарком стал приезд культовых имен в мире балета, ведущих солистов Нидерландского современного театра NDT1- Хлоя Альбарет, Роджер Ван дер Поэль и Оливье Коффард и Питер Чу, Ведущие солисты Королевского балета Фландрии- Моргана Капеллари и Клаудио Каньялози, Ведущие солисты Большого театра Женевы- Симоне Репеле,  Саша Рива и Юми Айзава. 

The works presented by the artists are emotional and philosophical stories that sometimes immerse you in a trance, causing discussions and giving you the opportunity to think. A solo performance was presented in the number “Kily Zaman” to the music of the ethno-folklore ensemble “Turan”, choreographed by Patrick de Bana and performed by Sultanbek Gumar, AstanaOpera. The evening's program included the works “Jeune Fille et Les Morts” to the music of Franz Schubert, “Sinking” by Gavin Briers, the work “What If” by composer and pianist Ezio Bosso, “Playground” by Armand Amar, “Conscious Shift” by Andre Barros. Each work unique and carries its own character and meaning of the modern world today.

Произведения, которые представили артисты- это эмоциональные и философские истории, которые порой погружают в транс, вызывая дискуссии и  давая возможность задуматься. Сольным выступлением был представлен номер “Қилы заман ” на музыку этно-фольклорного ансамбля «Туран» в хореографии Патрика де Бана в исполнении Султанбека Гумара, AstanaOpera. В программе вечера были представлены произведения “Jeune Fille et Les Morts” на музыку Франца Шуберта, ”Sinking” Гавина Брайерса, произведение "What If” композитора и пианиста Эцио Боссо, “Playground” Арманда Амара, “Conscious Shift” Андре Барроса.  Каждое произведение уникально и несет свой характер и смысл современного мира сегодня.

Modern musical accompaniment and scenography, every detail in the choreography of movements evokes a storm of emotions and experiences, immersing you in the world of dance and giving you the opportunity to change your outlook on life. The director of the project was Erlan Andagulov himself.

The Contemporary style speaks to the viewer in his language, everyone can see their own history and experiences, which gives the edge to deep reflection. The viewer analyzes what he sees on stage, the attitude towards himself and relationships with each other, which contributes to knowledge, depth, understanding and respect. ” - Chloe Albaret, France.

Современное музыкальное сопровождение и сценография, каждая деталь в постановке движений  вызывает бурю эмоций и переживаний, погружая в мир танца и давая возможность изменить свой взгляд на жизнь. Режиссером проекта выступил сам Ерлан Андагулов. 

“Произведение  несет между собой связь и идею. Стиль Контемпори говорит со зрителем на его языке, каждый может увидеть свою историю и переживания, котор дает грани к глубоким размышлениям. Зритель анализирует то, что видит на сцене, отношение к себе и взаимоотношениям друг с другом, которое способствует к познанию к глубине, пониманию и уважению. ”- Хлоя Альбарет, Франция.

The final surprise was the performance of DJ Dianella and a laser show, at which modern dance artists took a bow and presented another, already common Performance. The Almaty audience warmly greeted the visiting guests of the Ballet Globe Festival with thunderous applause and enthusiastic shouts from the public.

The International Ballet Globe Festival was held with the support of the Almaty Akimat.

Финальным сюрпризом стало выступление DJ Dianella и лазерное шоу, на котором  артисты современного танца вышли на поклон и подарили еще один, уже общий Перформанс. Алматинский зритель очень горячо встретил приезжих гостей Фестиваля Ballet Globe бурными овациями и восторженными криками публики.

Международный фестиваль Ballet Globe прошел при поддержке акимата города Алматы.
