Seoul lights up new stars

Asian Model Festival, held from June 22 to June 24 in South Korea - one of the largest events in the world.

The event, held by the Korean Fashion Association, for its 10-year history has become one of the most important events in the calendar of world secular life. Asian Fashion Festival today unites the beauty contest (Asia New Star Model Contest), the Fashion Week (Asia 美 Festival), the contest-exhibition of the fashion and beauty industry (Asia 美 Awards), as well as the Asian version of the Oscar and Grammy (Asia Model Awards). The festival is broadcast in 127 countries around the world, the television and Internet audience is about one billion people. The most important distinction of the Asian Fashion Festival is the emphasis on talented young people worthy of world recognition. This year, the festival was attended by two more countries - the UAE and Australia.

Мероприятие, которое проводит Корейская ассоциация моды, за свою 10-летнюю историю стало одним из важнейших событий в календаре мировой светской жизни. Азиатский фестиваль моды сегодня объединяет под своим крылом конкурс красоты (Asia New Star Model Contest), Неделю моды (Asia 美 Festival), конкурс-выставку индустрии моды и красоты (Asia 美 Awards), а также азиатский вариант «Оскара» и «Грэмми» (Asia Model Awards). Фестиваль транслируется в 127 странах мира, телевизионная и интернет-аудитория составляет около миллиарда человек. Самым главным отличием Азиатского фестиваля моды является акцент на талантливых молодых людях, достойных мирового признания. В этом году в фестивале приняли участие еще две страны – ОАЭ и Австралия.

As the main goal of the Asia New Star Model Contest, organizers call the search for new Asian and global top models and promote them to conclude profitable advertising and model contracts with world famous brands. The Improvised Fashion Week (Asia 美 Festival) provides young Asian designers with an opportunity to showcase their collections to the world and attract the attention of major world buyers. This is also happening at the contest-exhibition of the fashion and beauty industry (Asia 美 Awards), where manufacturers of cosmetics, jewelry, skin care products receive recognition and awards for their activities throughout the year.

В качестве основной цели проведения конкурса красоты Asia New Star Model Contest организаторы называют поиск новых азиатских и мировых топ-моделей и продвижение их к заключению выгодных рекламных и модельных контрактов со всемирно известными брендами. Импровизированная Неделя моды (Asia 美 Festival) предоставляет молодым азиатским дизайнерам возможность продемонстрировать миру свои коллекции и привлечь внимание крупных мировых байеров. Это происходит и на конкурсе-выставке индустрии моды и красоты (Asia 美 Awards), где производители косметики, украшений, средств по уходу за кожей получают признание и награды за свою деятельность в течение года.

Kazakhstani designers were especially noted this year at the Fashion Week within the framework of the Asian Fashion Festival - the domestic designer Miruana Akkass represented Kazakhstan in this sector of the Festival. Our country has been participating in the Asia New Star Model Contest since 2015 (that is, the selection has been conducted in the country since 2014). Representatives of 25 Asian countries took part in the current competition. In each participating country there was an open casting - anyone could come at the appointed time, fill out a questionnaire and show themselves to local fashion leaders. The participants who entered the semi-finals were included in the shortlist of the country's representatives for participation in the Asia New Star Model Contest. The beauty contest is that it gives a real chance for everyone to get on the podium and become a world star. Selection for the contest Asia New Star Model Contest-2017 was absolutely transparent and affordable for every Kazakhstani.

Казахстанские дизайнеры были особо отмечены в этом году на Неделе моды в рамках Азиатского Фестиваля моды – отечественный дизайнер Мируана Аккас представляла Казахстан в этом секторе Фестиваля. Наша страна участвует в Asia New Star Model Contest с 2015 года (то есть отбор внутри страны ведется с 2014 года). В нынешнем конкурсе приняли участие представители 25 азиатских государств. В каждой стране-участнице проходил открытый кастинг – любой желающий мог прийти в назначенное время, заполнить анкету и показать себя местным корифеям моды. Прошедшие в полуфинал участники попали в шорт-лист представителей страны для участия в Asia New Star Model Contest. Вся прелесть этого конкурса красоты в том, что он дает реальный шанс всем и каждому попасть на подиум и стать мировой звездой. Отбор на конкурс Asia New Star Model Contest-2017 был абсолютно прозрачным и доступным каждому казахстанцу.

On June 23, the final for the models of Face of Asia took place, to which 11 participants from Central Asia triumphed. From the countries of Central Asia, distinguished themselves: The face of Asia among men was the representative of Uzbekistan Shahboz Makhmudov. Among them are Anel Karabaeva, Tleuzhan Nazir (Kazakhstan), Alla Ekman (Kyrgyzstan), Anastasia Ukhova (Uzbekistan), Zarnigor Khusainova (Tajikistan). The Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Korea opened Zarnigor Husainova's door to visit the country as a friend between 2017 and 2019. Begench Gurbanzahatov (Kyrgyzstan) and Safina Gaibova (Tajikistan) received prizes and titles from sponsors of the festival.

23 июня состоялся финал для моделей Face of Asia, в который с триумфом вышли 11 участников из Центральной Азии. Из Стран Центральной Азии, отличились: Лицом Азии среди мужчин стал представитель Узбекистана Шахбоз Махмудов. Среди них Анель Карабаева, Тлеужан Назир (Казахстан), Алла Экман (Кыргызстан), Анастасия Ухова (Узбекистан), Зарнигор Хусаинова (Таджикистан). Министерство туризма и культуры Кореи открыло Зарнигор Хусаиновой двери для посещения страны в качестве друга в период с 2017 по 2019 гг. Бегенч Гурбансахатов (Кыргызстан) и Сафина Гаибова (Таджикистан) получили призы и титулы от спонсоров фестиваля.
