The pre-premiere of «Ghost in the Shell»

The film is based on the Japanese anime of 1995(«Mobile Armored Riot Police»). In 2029 the boundaries between people and cyborgs are blurred, the mind can be «cracked» or transferred to another medium. For the special operations of the Government and the fight against cybercriminals, there is the Ninth Division, the main weapon of which is the Major (Scarlett Johansson). The Major (the human brain in a synthetic body) does not remember the past, but is impeccable in hand-to-hand combat and can become invisible thanks to a special suit that fits the whole body like a second skin. Faced with a powerful enemy («Puppeteer»), she begins to think about the past... A separate mention is the work of Weta Workshop, which made the stunning robotic geisha. This is not special effects, but the result of the efforts of a large team of specialists, with the use of animatronics. Painted porcelain faces were made over the face of a Japanese actress and printed using a 3D printer, and inside the costumes there are even coolers. «Ghost in the Shell» - this aesthetic enjoyment of visual effects and a remarkably transmitted atmosphere of cyberpunk, we recommend all lovers of cyberpunk (Matrix, Johnny Mnemonics, Total Recall).

В среду, 29 марта, редакция Style of Eurasia побывала в Kinopark Esentai (IMAX) на предпоказе долгожданного фантастического фильма-антиутопии «Призрак в доспехах». Фильм основан на японском аниме 1995 года («Спецподразделение по предотвращению захвата оболочки»).  2029 году границы между людьми и киборгами размыты, разум можно «взломать» или перенести на другой носитель. Для спецопераций Правительства и борьбы с киберпреступниками существует Девятый отдел, главным оружием которого является Майор (Скарлетт Йоханссон). Майор (человеческий мозг в синтетическом теле) не помнит прошлого, но безупречна в рукопашном бою и может становиться невидимой благодаря специальному костюму, облегающему все тело как вторая кожа. Сталкиваясь с могущественным врагом («Кукловод»), она начинает задумываться о прошлом… Отдельного упоминания стоит работа компании Weta Workshop, сделавшей потрясающих роботов-гейш. Это не спецэффекты, а результат усилий большой команды специалистов, с применением аниматроники.  Раскрашенные фарфоровые лица были сделаны по лицу японской актрисы и распечатаны с помощью 3D-принтера, а внутри костюмов есть даже кулеры для охлаждения.  «Призрак в доспехах» - это эстетическое наслаждение визуальными эффектами и замечательно переданная атмосфера киберпанка, рекомендуем всем любителям киберпанка («Матрица», «Джонни-мнемоник», «Вспомнить все»).
