This is the second of five planned by Warner Bros. with Harry Potter's mom, JK Rowling, movies telling about the magical heroes associated with Hogwarts.

In the story, the dangerous, dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp), eager for the power of magicians over the world of ordinary people, escapes from prison. All those who disagree with his plan, he intends to lure to his side or simply destroy. Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) intends to prevent the antagonist, but not with his own hands. Dumbledore turned to his student Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) for help. In this series, you will see many new and familiar characters from the first film. Newt’s brother Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner), his Summer bride (Zoë Kravitz), Newt’s beloved Tina (Katherine Waterston) along with her sister Queenie (Alison Sudol), Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), transforming into animal Nagini (Claudia Kim) will appear on the screen other. In addition, in the finale of the second part, the mystery of the origin of Credence Barebone (Ezra Miller) is revealed to the audience. We will see the continuation in the third part, which is scheduled for release in 2020.

Всех несогласных с его планом он намерен переманить на свою сторону либо попросту уничтожить. Помешать антагонисту намерен Альбус Дамблдор (Джуд Лоу), правда, не своими руками. Дамблдор обратился к своему ученику Ньюту Саламандеру (Эдди Рэдмэйн) за помощью. В этой серии вы увидите много новых и уже знакомых по первому фильму персонажей. На экране появятся брат Ньюта Тесей (Каллум Тернер), его невеста Лета (Зои Кравиц), возлюбленная Ньюта Тина (Кэтрин Уотерстон) вместе с сестрой Куинни (Элисон Судол), магл Якоб (Дэн Фоглер), трансформирующаяся в животное Нагайна (Клаудия Ким) и другие. Кроме того, в финале второй части зрителям открывается тайна происхождения Криденса Бэрбоуна (Эзра Миллер). Продолжение мы увидим уже в третьей части, выход которой запланирован на 2020-й год.
