Many people have forgotten about overseas vacations this summer. They were content with little. Family trips to nature are a great opportunity to escape from the stone jungle and enjoy the silence. So the heroes of the film «Hour of Lead» went to their mobile home to a camping park on the shore of the lake. Wendy (Anne Heche), her husband Paul (Thomas Jane), their 10-year-old daughter Taylor (Sadie Heim) and Lucky the pug are looking forward to a weekend together. Although the greeter of the park was not very kind to the new arrivals, the place to stay is really wonderful: the lake, boats, swings, and the neighbors in the campsite were pleasant. However, no sooner had the couple set up their camp than they discovered that their daughter was not with them. The girl disappeared without a trace. Actually, the rest turns into a game of detectives.

О заграничном отдыхе этим летом позабыли многие. Довольствовались малым. Поездки с семьей на природу - отличная возможность сбежать из каменных джунглей и насладиться тишиной. Вот и герои фильма «Час истины» отправились на своем доме на колесах в кемпинг-парк на берегу озера. Венди (Энн Хеч), ее супруг Пол (Томас Джейн), их 10-летняя дочь Тейлор (Сэди Хейм) и мопс Лаки в предвкушении совместных выходных. Хоть смотрящий парка и не очень-то любезно встретил новоприбывших, место для отдыха действительно замечательное: озеро, лодки, качели, да и соседи по кемпингу попались приятные. Однако не успели супруги развернуть свой лагерь, как обнаруживают, что их дочери с ними нет. Пропала без единого следа. Собственно, отдых превращается в игру в детективов.

The director of the film, Peter Facinelli, by the way, he also took part in the film as an actor, began his creation very cheerfully, capturing attention on the dynamic change of what is happening, the discovery of new, dark sides of the characters and especially clearly demonstrated Wendy's mental changes. The middle is very long, the investigation is very slow, many repetitions. The impression is that a couple of heroes have watched detective shows on TV and are suspicious of everyone around. If it were not for one detail - a fat pug in one scene and lost weight in another - watching this part of the film would be very boring. Fat as a timing - not bad, mister director.

Режиссер фильма Питер Фачинелли, кстати, в ленте он принял участие еще и в качестве актера, начал свое творение очень бодро, захватив внимание на динамичной смене происходящего, открытия новых, темных сторон героев и особо ярко демонстрировал психические перепады Венди. Середина очень затянута, расследование длится очень медленно, много повторений. Сложилось впечатление, что пара героев пересмотрела детективных шоу по ТВ и подозревает всех вокруг. Если бы не одна деталь - толстый мопс в одной сцене и похудевший в другой – смотреть эту часть фильма было бы очень скучно. Жир как определение времени – неплохо, мистер режиссер.

However, the heroes have an interesting vacation.

Когда ваше желание узнать, куда делась девочка, почти близится к нулю из-за поворотов сюжета в совершенно другую сторону, режиссер вспоминает, что надо бы в финале и про девочку рассказать, наворотив перед этим солянку из убийств, извращений и порно. Однако, интересный отпуск у героев получился.
