Medea. Material

Team of the performance is going to go to Moscow, where will represent Kazakhstan at the Theatre Festival NET. The premiere of the pop - mechanical performance «Medea. Material» took place at the beginning of this year. The performance was the first in the genre of Kazakhstani staging interdisciplinary theater. The audience appreciated the statement, not in the side remain well-known theater critics, artists of Kazakhstan, who have recognized the performance «Medea. Material».

22 ноября «ORTA» Центр Культуры пригласил на специальный показ нашумевшей работы Центра универсальных искусств «ORTA», поп - механического спектакля «Медея. Материал». Команда спектакля собирается отправиться в Москву, где будет представлять Казахстан на театральном фестивале NET. Премьера поп – механического спектакля «Медея.Материал» состоялась еще в начале этого года. Спектакль стал первой казахстанской постановкой в жанре междисциплинарного театра. Зрители положительно оценили постановку, в стороне не остались также известные театральные критики, деятели искусства Казахстана, которые признали по достоинству постановку «Медея. Материал».

«Medea. Material» .is a 60 minute performance, which involves 16 models, 6 musicians, 4 screen, the camera 3 and 2 votes. Heiner Muller «handled» the ancient Greek myth of the sorceress, fell in love with Jason and the stranger who had left home to Colchis for the happiness in your new country. Tough imagery of his poetics was the starting point in the creation of the play «Medea. Material». Sorceress Medea left Colchis homeland for the love of Jason, arrives with him to the shores of Corinth - rich, beautiful, a developed country, to arrange a new life. One day she finds out that Jason is going to marry the daughter of the local king, and it comes the realization that Jason is waiting for life at court, and for her - life on the shore and exile. The illusion of love falls like a veil from her eyes and stand in front of Medea terrible pictures of the past: the betrayal of her father, running away from home, killing her brother. In Heiner Muller's picture of the past, haunting Medea, brings she to despair, become so unbearable that Medea decided to abandon yourself as a woman, as a mother-like the person and turns into a cold rational «machine», killing her children. In this cold, she finds salvation from the terrible ghosts of the past.

«Медея.Материал» -это 60 минутный спектакль, в котором участвуют 16 моделей, 6 музыкантов, 4 экрана, 3 камеры и 2 голоса. Хайнер Мюллер «обработал» древнегреческий миф о волшебнице, полюбившей чужеземца Язона и покинувшей родную Колхиду ради счастья в новой стране. Жесткая образность его поэтики явилась отправной точкой в создании спектакля «Медея. Материал». Волшебница Медея покинув родную землю Колхиду ради любви к Язону, приплывает с ним к берегам Коринфа – богатой, красивой, развитой страны, чтобы устроить новую жизнь. Однажды она узнает, что Язон собирается жениться на дочери местного царя, и к ней приходит осознание, что Язона ждет жизнь при дворе, а ее, чужеземку - жизнь на берегу и изгнание. Иллюзия любви спадает, как пелена с глаз, и перед Медеей встают ужасные картины прошлого: предательство отца, побег из дома, убийство родного брата. У Хайнера Мюллера картины прошлого, преследующие Медею, Доводят ее до отчаяния, становятся настолько невыносимыми, что Медея решается отказаться от себя, как от жены, как от матери, как от человека и превращается в холодную рациональную «машину», убивающую своих детей. В этом холоде она находит свое спасение от ужасных призраков прошлого.

Первая в истории казахстанского театра постановка Хайнера Мюллера решена в эстетике ландшафтного европейского (музыкального) театра, где музыка, техника, тело, сценография, костюм и текст находятся в равноправных отношениях и одинаковы по силе присутствия.

Immediately after the play there was a meeting on the topic «Modern theater, new place of power» with the participation of Moscow's leading theatrical figures: Elena Kovalskaya and Christina Matvienko.

Спектакль «Медея.Материал» с помощью механизмов, электричества, шумов, музыки, голоса, света и человеческой красоты создает картину мира, как сюрреалистического пространства воспоминаний, в котором от Медеи осталось только платье на сцене и голос в репродукторе, жизнь людей свелась к функции быть кнопками и печатать тексты, а музыка превратилась в треск маленьких роботов. Сразу после показа спектакля состоялась встреча на тему: «Современный театр, Новое место силы» с участием ведущих московских театральных деятелей: Елены Ковальской и Кристины Матвиенко.
