The film left ambiguous feelings, on the one hand, the film is beautiful, fresh and full of beautiful figures of real ballet dancers, and on the other hand, there was not enough character for secondary characters, partly because of lack of experience among the actors, that is, attracting dancers, not professionals in the film It's like a double-edged sword and that's acceptable. But the conscious reduction in the development of the characters of such masters as the brilliant Alice Freundlich and Alexander Domogarov is depressing, their game always justifies the hopes of the audience. In general, the ballet, and even more so the ballet in the Bolshoi Theater, is always indescribable: work, blood, sweat and the aspiration only forward. And even in this tough fight with competitors, it's hard to stand out, the words that repeat the main character in the role of Margarita Simonova, forced from prima to become one of the ballet dancers of the corps de ballet: "Step below, hands below, do not jump high!", For the viewer as an avatar, that There will always be people ready to cut your wings at any opportunity. Фильм оставил неоднозначные чувства, с одной стороны, фильм красив, свеж и полон красивых фигур настоящих танцоров балета, а с другой не хватило характерности второстепенным персонажам, отчасти из-за нехватки опыта у актеров, то есть, привлечение танцоров, а не профессионалов в фильм это как палка о двух концах и это приемлемо. Но сознательное сокращение развития персонажей таких мастеров как блистательная Алиса Фрейндлих и Александр Домогаров удручает, уж их-то игра всегда оправдывает надежды зрителей. Вообще балет, и тем более балет в Большом театре это всегда неописуемо: труд, кровь, пот и стремление только вперед. И даже в этой жесткой борьбе с конкурентами выделяться тяжело, слова, которые твердят главной героине в роли Маргариты Симоновой, вынужденной из примы стать одной из балерин кордебалета: «Шаг ниже, руки ниже, не прыгай высоко!», для зрителя как олицетворение, что всегда найдутся люди, готовые подрезать тебе крылья при любой возможности.
