"Despicable Me 4" is an American animated comedy film produced by Illumination and Universal Pictures. As the sequel to "Despicable Me 3" (2017) and the sixth installment in the "Despicable Me" franchise, it continues the beloved story of Gru and his family. Directed by Chris Renaud, with co-director Patrick Delage, and written by Mike White and Ken Daurio, the film features the voices of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Pierre Coffin, Miranda Cosgrove, and Steve Coogan. It was released in theaters in the United States on July 3, 2024.

In this new adventure, Gru, Lucy, and their daughters—Margo, Edith, and Agnes—welcome a new member to their family, young Gru Jr., who is determined to torment his father. Gru faces a new adversary in the form of Maxim Le Mal and his dangerous partner, Valentina, forcing the family to go on the run. The film promises to deliver the same blend of humor, heart, and mischief that fans have come to love.
