Choral troupe of the Abay Opera House for the first time in its long history has prepared a completely new, author's project-performance “On the Shore of the Sky”, a performance in V acts based on the music of Orlando Lasso. The author of the idea was Nurzhan Kysykov and Elis Bagaeva, chief choirmaster, holder of the Order of Kurmet Aliya Temirbekova, director Diana Akimbaeva. The storyline of the play is based on the love triangle of the girl Lucia, Pasteur Georgia, and the handsome Arkady, the main contender for Lucia's hand. Giorgio wanders in the space of his experiences, because on the one hand around him are the dark forces of passion, and on the other hand, the light forces of pure and innocent love. In the end, the Pastor is attached to dark forces and decides to betray the church in the name of, as he thinks, "his sin."

Хоровая труппа Казахского национального театра оперы и балета им. Абая впервые за многолетнюю историю подготовила совершенно новый, авторский проект-спектакль “На берегу неба” представление в V действиях на основе музыки Орландо Лассо. Автором идеи выступил Нуржан Кысыков и Элис Багаева, главный хормейстер, кавалер ордена Курмет Алия Темирбекова, режиссер-постановщик Диана Акимбаева. В основе сюжетной линии спектакля лежит любовный треугольник девушки Лючии, Пастера Джорджиа и красавца Аркадия- главного претендента на руку Лючии. Джорджио блуждает в пространстве своих переживаний ведь с одной стороны вокруг него темные силы страсти, а с другой стороны светлой силы чистой и невинной любви. В конце концов Пастор придается темным силам и решается предать церковь во имя, как он думает “Греха своего”. 

The genre in which the performance is being created is the Dell'arte comedy, which existed in the 16th century, but if in those days there was more grotesque, now the main emphasis in the production is on romance and modern solutions. All actions in the performance are portrayed by the actors in the form of pantomime and accompanied by an ensemble A cappella. The choral performance, which will appear before the viewer, keeps a certain intrigue and emotional tension to the end with its sound performance.

Жанр, в котором создаётся спектакль - комедия Dell’arte, который существовал в XVI веке, но если в те времена было больше гротеска, то сейчас главный акцент в постановке сделан на романтике и современных решениях. Артистами все действия в спектакле изображаются в виде пантомимы и под аккомпанемент ансамблевого А капелла. Хоровой перформанс, который предстанет перед зрителем держит до конца некую интригу и эмоциональное напряжение своим звуковым исполнением.

“The original idea and goal of our project is to show the team in a slightly different role than the audience is used to seeing. In opera performances, the choir usually acts in the background, as an accompaniment to the soloists and the orchestra, but here the choir is both the performer and the main character. We have chosen the A cappella genre, that is, without the accompaniment of an orchestra and musical instruments and a return to the origins of the Renaissance”, - shares Nurzhan Kysykov, choirmaster of the Abay Opera House, the author of the idea.          

“Изначальная идея и цель нашего проекта показать коллектив в несколько другом амплуа нежели его привыкли видеть зрители. В оперных спектаклях обычно хор выступает на втором плане, как сопровождение к солистам и оркестру, а здесь хор и исполнитель, и главное действующее лицо. Нами был выбран жанр А капелла, то есть без сопровождения оркестра и музыкальных инструментов и возвращение к истокам эпохи Возрождения”, - делится Нуржан Кысыков, хормейстер КазНТОБ им. Абая, автор идеи.
