A lush floral garden, the set of the Kenzo SS 2021 show by Felipe Oliveira Baptista echoes the motifs of the collection. Starting with flowers, the primal symbol of protection and cocooning, comes an ode to the bees, the regulators of our planet.

«I have never started a collection with so many questions in front of me and so many mixed feelings about the present and the future. – said Felipe Oliveira Baptista. Surely no one can expect linear answers to the current situation. The world is lost and everyone must try to find some sort of sense (and possible order) in it. How can one define and pretend to give answers to a reality that no one understands or fully comprehends? «Я никогда не начинал коллекцию, когда передо мной было так много вопросов и так много смешанных чувств по поводу настоящего и будущего, - говорит Фелипе Оливейра Баптиста. «Конечно, нельзя ожидать линейных ответов на сложившуюся ситуацию. Мир потерян, и каждый должен попытаться найти в нем какой-то смысл (и возможный порядок). Как можно дать определение реальности, которую никто не понимает или полностью не понимает, и делать вид, что даешь ответы? Как можно сделать выводы из ситуации, которая далека от завершения и последствия которой невозможно понять? Мир болен, мир истекает кровью, но он все еще жив. И пока есть жизнь, есть надежда. Оптимистический ответ должен сопровождаться определенной степенью прагматизма. Так куда мы идем отсюда? Как нам двигаться дальше?
