Igor Chapurin will hold the master class in Almaty in Kazakhstan Fashion Week

The guest of honor of the twenty-first season of Kazakhstan Fashion Week is one of the most popular and topical designers of Russia Igor Chapurin.

Among the clients of the Chapurin brand are the first ladies of Russia Lyudmila Putina and Anastasia Medvedeva, and the designer himself is twice the winner of the Golden Mannequin Award and the Ovation award, the winner of the young fashion designers Nina Ricci. October 10 in the art space Dostyk Plaza Igor Chapurin will hold the master class, and then will the fashion show of the collection within Kazakhstan Fashion Week specifically for Almaty residents and guests of the southern capital.

Igor, why did you choose to visit Almaty?

«Almaty is a wonderful city, which always interested me as a designer. Here people live and work who are accustomed to being interested in fashion and are keenly aware of all the advanced trends. Our brand has repeatedly participated in projects in Almaty, and we are very pleased with the result».

Игорь, почему вы выбрали для визита Алматы?

«Алматы - прекрасный город, который всегда интересовал меня как дизайнера. Здесь живут и работают люди, которые привыкли интересоваться модой и остро чувствуют все передовые тренды. Наш бренд не раз принимал участие в проектах в Алматы, и мы очень довольны результатом».

Have you cooperated with Kazakhstan Fashion Week before?

«No, we have never worked with KFW before, but I hope that our first experience will be the basis for future cooperation. We will present a synthesized collection, where the main emphasis will be placed on revealing the DNA of our brand to the audience. Therefore, to the clothing pret-a-porter we will add with little haute couture».

Сотрудничали ли вы с Kazakhstan Fashion Week раньше?

«Нет, мы никогда раньше не работали с KFW, но я надеюсь, что наш первый опыт станет основой для будущего сотрудничества. Мы представим синтезированную коллекцию, где основной упор будет сделан на то, чтобы раскрыть зрителям ДНК нашей марки. Поэтому к вещам pret-a-porter мы добавим, немного haute couture».

Was the collection shown earlier or created specifically for the KFW show?

«The collection, in the form in which it will be presented in Almaty is debut, but its parts we demonstrated on the podium in Moscow».

Демонстрировалась ли коллекция ранее или создана специально для показа в рамках KFW?

«Коллекция, в том виде, в котором она будет представлена в Алматы дебютная, но ее отдельные части мы демонстрировали на подиуме в Москве».

Tell us a little about the collection.

«This collection is based on the wild aesthetics of Barbarism, but missed through the prism of modernity. Its key message is a renewing natural force that is capable of changing history. Therefore, the collection has many hidden meanings - asymmetry, raw materials and leather».

«Эта коллекция базируется на дикой эстетике Варварства, но пропущенной через призму современности. Ее ключевой посыл - обновляющая природная сила, которая способна менять историю. Поэтому в коллекции много скрытых смыслов - ассиметрии, необработанных материалов, кожи».

What audience is the master class for?

«My master class is designed for a fairly broad audience, but interested in fashion. Therefore, I hope to be not just a mentor, but to engage in dialogue with listeners».

На какую аудиторию рассчитан мастер-класс?

«Мой мастер-класс рассчитан на довольно широкую аудиторию, но интересующуюся модой. Поэтому я надеюсь быть не просто ментором, но включиться в диалог со слушателями».

What is the theme of the master class and its relevance?

«The theme is «Fashion and style: the basic wardrobe and current trends of 2018», we will talk about this. In doing so, I will try to give not only practical advice, but also to speculate about where the modern fashion is moving to give listeners the sensation of a fashionable process».

Какова тема мастер-класса и ее актуальность?

«Тема звучит так «Мода и стиль: базовый гардероб и актуальные тенденции 2018», об этом мы и будем говорить. При этом я постараюсь дать не только практические советы, но и порассуждать о том, куда движется современная мода, чтобы дать слушателям ощущение модного процесса».

Does the brand plan to participate in other events in Almaty?

«I hope that our activity in Kazakhstan will only increase. We are open for a variety of offers».

«Надеюсь, что наша активность в Казахстане будет только увеличиваться. Мы открыты для самых разных предложений».
