NEWS: June 17 in Astana will be held open-air festival Astana Art Fest

June 17, 2017 in Astana will start grandiose open-air festival - Astana Art Fest. 90 days on the Boulevard Nurzhol will be exhibited the conceptual author's works of honored masters and young artists of Kazakhstan, Russia, France, Ukraine, Spain, USA, India, Singapore, Germany, Armenia, the Netherlands. Astana Art Fest is an interdisciplinary festival promoting the synergy of musical, theatrical, architectural and visual arts. The concept of the 2017 festival «Nomad energy» is a rethinking of historical nomadism. The new nomadism is not the search for a better place, but the movement as a way of cognizing the world, the «migration», the inclusion of local culture in global processes, and, on the contrary, the absorption of supranational trends by local traditions.

17 июня в Астане состоится open-air фестиваль Astana Art Fest

17 июня 2017 года в Астане начнет свою работу грандиозный фестиваль open-air формата – Astana Art Fest. 90 дней на бульваре Нуржол будут экспонироваться концептуальные авторские работы заслуженных мэтров и молодых художников Казахстана, России, Франции, Украины, Испании, США, Индии, Сингапура, Германии, Армении, Нидерландов.  Astana Art Fest – междисциплинарный фестиваль, продвигающий синергию музыкального, театрального, архитектурного и изобразительного искусств. Концепция фестиваля 2017 года «Nomad energy» – это переосмысление исторического кочевничества. Новый номадизм – не поиск лучшего места, но перемещение как способ познания мира, «перекочевка», включение локальной культуры в глобальные мировые процессы, и напротив – поглощение наднациональных трендов местными традициями.

Astana Art Fest takes art to the streets, art becomes a part of the life of the city, its inhabitants, and it changes them. This is an effective starting point for beginners, the very case when you can wake up famous. Over the two previous years, the festival has «brought out» 17 talented Kazakhstanis and continues to support their endeavors through seminars and workshops. The festival was conceived as a space for a lively and sincere exchange of ideas, creative energy, experience, knowledge, so the organizers are trying to create an organic mix of countries, directions, philosophies, for which every year they seek inspiration and are inspired through Open Call - an open competition among potential participants - Reveals young talented architects, designers, musicians and artists.

Astana Art Fest выводит искусство на улицы, искусство становится частью жизни города, его жителей, и оно меняет их. Это эффективная стартовая площадка для начинающих художников, тот самый случай, когда можно проснуться знаменитым. За два предыдущих года фестиваль «вывел в свет» 17 талантливых казахстанцев и продолжает поддерживать их начинания через семинары, мастер-классы и воркшопы. Фестиваль задумывался как пространство для живого и искреннего обмена идеями, творческой энергией, опытом, знаниями, потому организаторы стремятся создать органичный микс стран, направлений, философий, для чего каждый год ищут вдохновение и вдохновленных через Open Call – открытый конкурс среди потенциальных участников – кураторская команда выявляет молодых талантливых архитекторов, дизайнеров, музыкантов и художников.

Formally, applications for the contest were extended until April 25. As Mayra Izmailova noted, the festival director: «Taking into account the experience of the past, when on the last day of the Open Call, letters were sent to our mail asking for a delay, additional time, we waited for this very» last day and gave «overtime». I think that now everyone will be in time. But I want to turn to the regions separately: «Guys, we are waiting for you!». Art, architectural and design projects that reflect the concept of the festival are accepted for participation. Официально прием заявок на конкурс продлили до 25 апреля. Как отметила Майра Измайлова, директор фестиваля: «Учитывая опыт прошлых лет, когда в последний день Open Call на нашу почту начинали сыпаться письма с просьбой отсрочки, дополнительного времени, мы дождались этого самого «последнего дня» и дали «overtime». Думаю, теперь успеют все желающие. Но я хочу отдельно обратиться к регионам: «Ребята, мы вас ждем!».  К участию принимаются художественные, архитектурные и дизайн-проекты, отражающие концепцию фестиваля.
