NEWS: New York Film Academy for the first time in Kazakhstan

From 7 to 9 April 2017 in Almaty will be held the first practical workshops of the largest educational institution in the field of cinema and television in the world - New York Film Academy, on the basis of KIMEP University. Practical workshops of the weekend for producing and scenario skills will be held in Almaty. Over the weekend, participants of the seminars will get acquainted with the basics of the chosen specialty. Lectures will be accompanied by a series of exercises to immediately consolidate the knowledge gained in practice. Participation in workshops on the proposed specialties is equally suitable for both beginners and professionals and everyone interested in acquiring knowledge about the principles of the work of producers and scriptwriters according to the standards of the American system of the film and television industry. The seminar in the field of «scenario skills» is also suitable for professional actors and listeners interested in acting, several master classes include elements of acting skills.

С 7 по 9 апреля 2017 г. в Алматы, на базе университета КИМЭП пройдут первые практические мастерские крупнейшего учебного заведения в области кино и телевидения в мире - New York Film Academy. В Алматы пройдут Практические мастерские выходного дня по продюсированию и сценарному мастерству. За выходные участники семинаров познакомятся с основами выбранной специальности. Лекции будут сопровождаться серией упражнений для незамедлительного закрепления полученных знаний на практике. Участие в мастерских по предложенным специальностям одинаково подходит как новичкам, так и профессионалам и всем заинтересованным в приобретении знаний о принципах работы продюсеров и сценаристов по стандартам американской системы индустрии кино и телевидения. Семинар по направлению «сценарное мастерство» подходит также для профессиональных актеров и слушателей, интересующихся актерским искусством, так как несколько модулей мастер-класса включают элементы актерского мастерства.

Paul Brown is a screenwriter and producer, a teacher at the New York Academy of Motion Picture Arts in Los Angeles, the author of more than thirty scenarios, a multiple nominee for the Emmy Award and the Golden Globe Award, and the Edgar Award.

На краткосрочные интенсивные программы в Алматы приезжают лучшие педагоги Нью-Йоркской Академии Киноискусства.  Пол Браун - сценарист и продюсер, преподаватель Нью-Йоркской Академии Киноискусства в Лос-Анджелесе, автор более тридцати сценариев, многократный номинант на премии «Эмми» и «Золотой глобус», а также лауреат премии «Эдгар», присуждаемой ассоциацией авторов детективного жанра Америки (Mystery Writers of America).
