Applications for participation in the Visa Everywhere Initiative, a global innovation competition for fintech startups, are now open in Kazakhstan

В Казахстане открыт прием заявок на участие в Visa Everywhere Initiative, глобальном инновационном конкурсе для финтех-стартапов

Kazakhstan is now accepting applications for the Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI) 2024, a global open innovation program and competition in which startups pitch their solutions to address the challenges of the future in payments and commerce.

В Казахстане открыт прием заявок на участие в Visa Everywhere Initiative (VEI) 2024, глобальной программе открытых инноваций и конкурсе, в рамках которого стартапы представляют свои решения для решения задач будущего в сфере платежей и коммерции.

In addition to financial support, VEI winners are given access to Visa's extensive network of partners in the banking, trading, venture capital and government sectors. The winners will also receive recognition from one of the world's most trusted and valuable brands.

Applications for participation in the competition are accepted from March 25 to May 6. Помимо финансовой поддержки, победителям VEI предоставляется доступ к широкой сети партнеров Visa в банковском, торговом, венчурном и государственном секторах. Победители также получат признание от одного из самых надежных и ценных брендов мира. Заявки на участие в конкурсе принимаются с 25 марта по 6 мая.

Selected participants will advance to the next stage of the competition in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) region, which will be held virtually on July 17. The startup that wins at the regional stage will take part in the global finals, competing with the winners of the European, Asia-Pacific, Latin American and North American selections at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference in San Francisco (USA) on October 29, 2024.

Отобранные участники попадут на следующий этап конкурса в регионе Центральной и Восточной Европы, Ближнего Востока и Африки (CEMEA), который пройдет в виртуальном формате 17 июля. Стартап, победивший на региональном этапе, примет участие в глобальном финале, соревнуясь с победителями европейского, азиатско-тихоокеанского, латиноамериканского и североамериканского отборов на конференции TechCrunch Disrupt в Сан-Франциско (США) 29 октября 2024 года.

The Visa Everywhere Initiative first launched in the United States in 2015 and quickly went global. To date, approximately 15,000 startups have participated in the competition and received funding totaling more than US$48 billion. Nigerian company Drugstock, the VEI 2023 winner, received the VEI Global Grand Grant of $50,000, as well as the People's Choice Award of $10,000.

На сегодняшний день в конкурсе приняли участие около 15 000 стартапов, которые получили финансирование на общую сумму более 48 миллиардов долларов США. Нигерийская компания Drugstock, победитель VEI 2023, получила главный грант VEI Global в размере $50 000, а также приз зрительских симпатий в размере $10 000.

We are looking for products that offer innovative payment and trading solutions for consumers and businesses.

At the regional stage of the competition the following monetary grants will be awarded: VEI CEMEA Regionals, first place: 20,000 US dollars, VEI CEMEA Regionals, audience prize: 10,000 US dollars.
