The feature film «Mukagali», which tells about the last years of the life of the legendary Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev, was included in the main competition program of the 25th anniversary Tallinn Film Festival "Dark Nights" (PÖFF), which will be held from 12 to 28 November 2021 in Estonia.
Художественный фильм «Мукагали», повествующий о последних годах жизни легендарного казахского поэта Мукагали Макатаева, вошел в основную конкурсную программу юбилейного 25-го Таллиннского кинофестиваля «Тёмные ночи» (PÖFF), который пройдет с 12 по 28 ноября 2021 года в Эстонии.
This was announced by the president of the Kazakhfilm film studio Akan Sataev during the premiere screening of the film in Almaty, which took place on the eve of the start of the screening with the participation of the film crew.

The «A» class film festival – «Dark Nights» has been held since 1997 and is the largest festival in the Baltics and one of the largest film screenings in Eastern Europe. According to the organizers of the festival, this year a total of 20 films were included in the main competition program of PÖFF, among them there are both already awarded films and numerous world and international premieres.
Кинофестиваль класса «А» – «Тёмные ночи» проводится с 1997 года и является крупнейшим фестивалем в Прибалтике и одним из крупнейших киносмотров Восточной Европы. По сообщению организаторов фестиваля, в этом году в общей сложности в главную конкурсную программу PÖFF вошло 20 фильмов, среди них есть, как уже отмеченные призами картины, так и многочисленные мировые и международные премьеры.
