NEWS: International competition of young designers «JAS-ORKEN 2018» was held

The competition was organized by the Faculty of Light Industry and Design of Almaty Technological University, Association of Light Industry Enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan. International competition of young designers «JAS-ORKEN 2018» is the 6th contest of young designers in the field of fashion design, for the first time it was held on October 8, 2002. The mission of the contest is to develop the creative potential of student youth, the formation of a professional environment for designers, the creation of a zone of international cooperation of the world fashion industry. Participants were given the opportunity to demonstrate talent to fashion experts, potential employers and journalists from the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, the Russian Federation, Italy and Japan, visit the forums of trends and design, fashion and inspiration, meet leading domestic and foreign fashion industry experts. In the framework of the contest of young designers «JAS-ORKEN 2018» there was also an exhibition of paintings by young artists. The competition commission included leading designers - Ekaterina Antonova (Italy), Aida Kaumenova (Kazakhstan), designer, stylist Bibotta (Kazakhstan), director, founder of KFW Botagoz Aldongarova (Kazakhstan), professor, Dr.Sc. Natalia Mokeeva (Russia).

Состоялся международный конкурс молодых дизайнеров и модельеров «ЖАС-ӨРКЕН 2018»

Организатором конкурса выступил Факультет легкой промышленности и дизайна Алматинского технологического университета, Ассоциация предприятий легкой промышленности РК. Международный конкурс молодых дизайнеров «ЖАС-ӨРКЕН 2018» 6-й конкурс молодых дизайнеров в области дизайна одежды, впервые он прошел 8 октября 2002 года. Миссией конкурса является развитие творческого потенциала студенческой молодёжи, формирование профессиональной среды дизайнеров, создание зоны международного сотрудничества мировой индустрии моды. Участникам предоставили возможность продемонстрировать талант перед специалистами в области моды, потенциальными работодателями и журналистами Республики Казахстан и Центральной Азии, Российской Федерации, Италии и Японии, посетить форумы трендов и дизайна, моды и инспирации, встретиться с ведущими отечественными и зарубежными специалистами индустрии моды. В рамках конкурса молодых дизайнеров «ЖАС-ӨРКЕН 2018» также прошла выставка картин молодых художников. В состав конкурсной комиссии вошли ведущие дизайнеры - Екатерина Антонова (Италия), Аида Кауменова (Казахстан), дизайнер, стилист  Биботта (Казахстан), режиссер-постановщик, учредитель  KFW Ботагоз Алдонгарова (Казахстан), профессор, д.т.н. Наталия Мокеева (Россия).
