NEWS: In Almaty was launched the «Adaptive Skiing School for Instructors» on the basis of the family mountain resort Pioneer

Konstantin Ponomarev, the inventor of the verticalizer Katyusha, and Andrey Batalov, the head of the Rehabilitation Center Energy Life and the ski resort Rosa Khutor (Sochi), have started cooperation with Kazakhstan instructors on the development of adaptive skiing in Kazakhstan and Russia. The program is designed to work with special children and became possible with the financial support of the Almaty Tourism and External Relations Department. A training seminar was held at the Pioneer family ski resort. Within the program, 30 instructors from different ski resorts of Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Reader) were trained. The aim of the training is to create comfortable conditions for skiing at other skiing bases in Kazakhstan for children with special needs, so that at domestic resorts there are specialists who have the skills to work with special children. The target audience is children with special needs aged 4 to 20 years. In particular, children with autism spectrum disorder, with mental retardation, Down's syndrome and cerebral palsy, are hard of hearing. This unique for Kazakhstan method of rehabilitation of children with disabilities, in fact, is a useful form of leisure. It is in this sport that the child concentrates on the sensation of his own body, which is extremely important for autistic children.

В Алматы запустили  «Школу адаптивного катания на горных лыжах для инструкторов» на базе семейного  горного курорта Pioneer

Инженер-изобретатель вертикализатора «Катюша»  Константин Пономарев и  руководитель реабилитационного центра  «Энергия жизни» и горнолыжного курорта  «Роза Хутор» (г.Сочи) Андрей Баталов  начали сотрудничество с казахстанскими инструкторами по развитию адаптивного катания в Казахстане и России. Программа рассчитана на работу с особыми детьми и стала возможной при  финансовой поддержке Управления туризма и внешних связей Алматы. Обучающий семинар-тренинг  состоялся на семейном горнолыжном курорте Pioneer. В рамках программы обучение прошли  30 инструкторов разных горнолыжных курортов Казахстана (Алматы, Астана, Караганда, Усть-Каменогорск, Ридер). Цель обучения -   создание комфортных условий катания на других горнолыжных базах Казахстана детям с особенными потребностями, чтобы на отечественных курортах были специалисты, которые имеют навыки работы с особыми детьми. Целевая аудитория – дети с особенными потребностями в возрасте от 4 до 20 лет. В частности, дети с расстройством аутистического спектра, с умственной отсталостью, синдрома Дауна и ДЦП, слабослышащие. Это уникальная для Казахстана методика реабилитации детей с ограниченными возможностями  здоровья,  по сути, является полезным видом досуга. Именно в этом виде спорта ребенок сконцентрирован на ощущении собственного тела, что крайне важно для детей-аутистов.
