Chanel Cruise 2021 by Virginie Viard

Chanel Cruise 2021 by Virginie Viard

For the new Chanel Cruise 2021 collection, Virginie Viard was inspired by Jean Cocteau's film "The Testament of Orpheus", according to Russian Vogue. And we agree with the author, because there are actually a lot of references in the collection. For example, teasers on the brand's official Instagram were filmed at 31 rue Cambon, in the apartment where Gabrielle Chanel lived. Jean Cocteau, a poet, writer, artist, screenwriter, director and designer, also came to visit her. In addition, in the teasers, a hibiscus flower was seen in the hands of the model, in the film we also see it, the same flower was carried in the hands of the model on the podium. The hibiscus print is present in the collection in black and white. White robes, pigeons that were released by models, black and white outfits with large neck decorations and much more. Admiring the photos in the gallery.
