Tiger Summer Fest 2023

The second annual Tiger Summer Fest was successfully held on August 5 in Almaty at the venue of the OFFTOP club. 

Второй ежегодный Tiger Summer Fest с успехом прошел 5 августа в Алматы на площадке клуба OFFTOP.

The festival was attended by over 4,000 guests.

Фестиваль посетило более 4000 гостей. 

Tiger Summer Fest - won the fame of the most informal among the brand festivals in Kazakhstan, the concept of the fest is based on the idea of the global platform of the TIGER brand - "UNCAGE" - the philosophy of accepting oneself, one's creative courage, and independence. On the territory of Central Asia, positioning reveals the slogan: "OPEN YOURSELF - DISCOVER TIGER!"

Tiger Summer Fest — завоевал славу самого неформального среди брендовых фестивалей Казахстана, в основе концепции феста идея глобальной платформы бренда TIGER — «UNCAGE» — философия принятия себя, своей творческой смелости, и независимости. На территории Центральной Азии позиционирование раскрывает слоган: «ОТКРОЙ СЕБЯ — ОТКРОЙ TIGER!»

Thematically, the festival was traditionally presented with activities in three directions: Tiger Street Food, Tiger Art and Tiger Music

ART

The symbol of the festival, a five-meter polygonal tiger, worked in the photo zone format. This year, the street art team Repas painted the tiger in the Tiger Summer Fest 2023 colors. During the entire festival day, the Tiger Tag Wall zone worked - a social-art project in which all guests over 21 years old could take part by adding their name or nickname to the total number of all participants in the fest on a special wall in the form of a graffiti tag. The Tiger Can Create exhibition found a second wind at the festival. The exposition of 12 creative installations made from cans of Tiger Beer and flexible neon once again attracted a lot of admiring glances. The first exhibition took place in December 2022.

В формате фотозоны работал символ фестиваля — пятиметровый полигональный тигр. В этом году команда уличных художников Repas раскрасила тигра в цвета Tiger Summer Fest 2023. В течение всего фестивального дня работала зона Tiger Tag Wall — social-art проект, участие в котором могли принять все гости старше 21 года, добавив свое имя или никнейм к общему числу всех участников феста на специальной стене в виде граффити тега. Второе дыхание на фестивале обрела выставка Tiger Can Create. Экспозиция из 12 креативных инсталляций, выполненных из банок Tiger Beer, и гибкого неона в очередной раз привлекла множество восторженных взглядов. Первая выставка состоялась в декабре 2022 года. 

FOOD

Especially for Tiger Summer Fest, a unique pan-Asian menu was developed, which included: traditional Asian street food, author's and vegetarian dishes. On the territory of the festival, 6 Tiger Street Food outlets were simultaneously working, which made it possible to avoid the crowding and long lines at the food court, which is already familiar to the “festival Almaty”.

Специально для Tiger Summer Fest было разработано уникальное паназиатское меню, которое включало: традиционный азиатский стрит-фуд, авторские и вегетарианские блюда. На территории фестиваля одновременно работали 6 точек Tiger Street Food что позволило избежать уже привычной для «фестивальной Алматы» картины давки и длинных очередей на фуд-корте.

 MUSIC

On the stage were performed: Kazakhstani hip-hop artist SHIZA (Shymkent), indie rock band Lie Lie (Shymkent), indie band yes/no/notsure (Karaganda). Poet, artist and musician SAMRATTAMA performed his hits and several songs from the new EP in a custom-made suit from the brand Savage Qyz - chain mail made of 2000 "eye-keys" from Tiger Beer cans. DJ Steppa-T, DJ Pluzhnik, DJ Kritechno and DJ Varfalamei were responsible for the dance mood. Specially invited guests of the festival - a group from St. Petersburg Animal Jazz. And the headliners of the festival are the legends of the world alternative scene, for the first time in Kazakhstan, the group Guano Apes.

На сцене выступили: казахстанский хип-хоп исполнитель SHIZA (Шымкент), инди-рок-группа Lie Lie (Шымкент), инди группа yes/no/notsure (Караганда). Поэт, артист и музыкант SAMRATTAMA исполнил свои хиты и несколько песен с нового EP в специально созданном для этого случая костюме от бренда Savage Qyz — кольчуге из 2000 «ключей-ушек» от банок Tiger Beer. За танцевальное настроение отвечали DJ Steppa-T, DJ Pluzhnik, DJ Kritechno и DJ Varfalamei. Специально приглашенные гости фестиваля — группа из Санкт-Петербурга Animal ДжаZ. И хедлайнеры фестиваля — легенды мировой альтернативной сцены, впервые в Казахстане, группа Guano Apes.

ENTERTAINMENT

During the day, the guests enthusiastically passed the Tiger-quest, a special introductory tour of the fest for participants over 21 years old. Quest conditions: visit the Tiger Bar, try unique dishes at the food court, test your balance on the balance board, throw a three-pointer and finally leave your name or nickname on the Tiger Tag Wall to take part in the drawing of a tour for two to Singapore, which won this evening Mergen Bembeev.

В течение дня гости увлеченно проходили Tiger-квест, специальный ознакомительный тур по фесту для участников старше 21 года.  Условия квеста: посетить Tiger Bar, попробовать уникальные блюда на фуд-корте, испытать свой баланс на балансборде, забросить трехочковый и в заключении оставив свое имя или никнейм на Tiger Tag Wall принять участие в розыгрыше тура на двоих в Сингапур, который в этот вечер выиграл Мерген Бембеев.
