On one warm autumn evening of 1957, Hubert de Givenchy went to meet his Audrey. At that moment she was going through a painful divorce. It was painful for the master to see his muse in sorrow. And he prepared for her a special gift. Hubert closed her eyes, put a bottle in her hands and said:

"Darling, I dedicate my first fragrance to you and from now on I forbid you to be sad”.

She smeared the aroma, and answered:

"And I forbid you to give it to anyone else."

This gave birth to the first fragrance of Givenchy House - L'Interdit, translated from French meaning "Prohibition". A year later, Audrey regained her happiness and allowed Hubert to release the fragrance. Smell like Audrey dreamed of all the girls ... In 1993, the muse died. Hubert then wrote: "I became just a designer ..." Every new collection was given to him with great difficulty and soon he retired. In December 2017, Hubert was asked to evaluate the modernized variation of the legendary L'Interdit. He smiled and put his signature inside the box. On March 10, 2018, the master died ...

Так родился первый аромат Дома Givenchy - L’Interdit, в переводе с французского означающий «Запрет». Через год Одри вновь обрела свое счастье и разрешила Юберу выпустить аромат. Пахнуть как Одри мечтали все девушки… В 1993 году не стало нашей музы. Юбер тогда написал: «Я стал просто дизайнером…» Каждая новая коллекция давалась ему с большим трудом и вскоре он отошел от дел. В декабре 2017 года Юбера попросили оценить осовремененную вариацию легендарного L’Interdit. Он улыбнулся и поставил свою подпись внутри коробочки с ароматом. 10 марта 2018 года мастера не стало…
