Aport Mall announces reopening after attacks

Aport Mall сообщил об открытии после нападений

Eurasia Red reported that more than 90% of Aport Mall's tenants have completed restoration work after a series of armed attacks and are ready to reopen. In this regard, the mall will resume work on January 15. The stores most affected by the actions of looters will be open until the end of this month.

Eurasia Red сообщила, что более 90% арендаторов Aport Mall закончили восстановительные работы после серии вооруженных нападений и готовы к открытию. В связи с этим молл возобновит работу 15 января. Наиболее пострадавшие от действий мародеров магазины будут открыты до конца текущего месяца.

“Currently, our tenants and the Aport mall team are carrying out final work, and we will be able to open by the end of this week,” said Chairman of the Union of Retail Real Estate Developers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, co-owner of the Aport Mall, Deputy General Director for Investment and Development of the Eurasia Red group of companies Dmitry Revin.

«В настоящее время наши арендаторы и команда молла Апорт проводят финальные работы, и мы сможем открыться к концу этой недели», - сообщил Председатель Союза девелоперов торговой недвижимости Республики Казахстан, совладелец моллов Апорт, заместитель генерального директора по инвестициям и развитию группы компаний Eurasia Red Дмитрий Ревин.

During the state of emergency, the mall will operate on a reduced schedule from 10.00 to 20.00.

Кроме того, в период ЧП с арендаторов не будет взиматься арендная плата. 

In addition, tenants will not be charged rent during the state of emergency.

В период действия режима ЧП молл будет работать по сокращенному графику с 10.00 до 20.00.

Currently, Eurasia Red specialists are assisting affected stores in developing support measures and filing claims for damages to insurance companies, the DAMU Entrepreneurship Development Fund and the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs. However, entrepreneurs are still waiting for the completion of the elaboration of procedures for documenting damage by the responsible state bodies.

В настоящее время специалисты Eurasia Red оказывают помощь пострадавшим магазинам в проработке мер поддержки и составлении обращений за возмещением ущерба в страховые компании, Фонд развития предпринимательства ДАМУ и Национальную палату предпринимателей «Атамекен». Однако, предприниматели до сих пор ждут завершения проработки процедур документирования ущерба со стороны ответственных государственных органов. 

“We are determined to return to standard operation as soon as possible. Despite the current situation, not a single tenant has left the mall, moreover, some of them intend to expand the retail space. So, in the spring of 2022, the first hypermarket of sports goods of the French brand Decathlon will open, and construction of the expansion of the first LC Waikiki store in Almaty has also begun. We continue to negotiate with a number of other international chains to enter Kazakhstan and open in our two Aport malls in Almaty. Let me remind you that the construction of the second Aport mall on Kulzha continues and in 2023 this project will please the residents of the eastern part of the Almaty agglomeration,” Dmitry Revin added. 

«Мы настроены в максимально короткое время вернуться в стандартный режим работы. Несмотря на сложившуюся ситуацию, ни один арендатор не покинул молл, более того, некоторые из них намерены расширить торговые площади. Так весной 2022 откроется первый гипермаркет спортивных товаров французского бренда Decathlon, также начато строительство расширения первого в Алмате магазина LC Waikiki. Мы продолжаем вести переговоры с рядом других международных сетей по выходу в Казахстан и открытию в двух наших моллах Апорт в Алматы. Напомню, что строительство второго молла Апорт на Кульже продолжается и в 2023 году этот проект порадует жителей восточной части Алматинской агломерации», - добавил Дмитрий Ревин.

Aport malls are the first largest lifestyle malls in Kazakhstan in the Central Asian region. The first Aport mall was opened in 2009, during this time it went through three stages of expansion to 200,000 sqm, over 70 international brands opened in it for the first time in Kazakhstan and Almaty.
