Vera Platonova, Senior Vice President and Regional Director of Visa in Ukraine, Georgia, CIS countries and Southeast Europe, became the winner in the nomination Female Business Leader of the Year at The Future of Emerging Europe Awards. 

Вера Платонова, старший вице-президент и директор регионального подразделения Visa в Украине, Грузии, странах СНГ и Юго-Восточной Европы стала победительницей в номинации Female Business Leader of theYear авторитетной международной премии The Future of Emerging Europe Awards. 

The annual event The Future of Emerging Europe Summit and Awards, held in Brussels in a hybrid format, has sparked a discussion on the most important topics for an emerging Europe. The organizers of the summit also noted the best states, organizations and individuals for their significant contribution to the social, economic and democratic development of 23 countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.

Ежегодное мероприятие The Future of Emerging Europe Summit and Awards, проведенное в Брюсселе в гибридном формате, инициировало дискуссию о важнейших темах для развивающийся Европы. Организаторы саммита также отметили лучшие государства, организации и личности за существенный вклад в социальное, экономическое и демократическое развитие 23 стран Центральной, Восточной и Юго-Восточной Европы и Кавказа.

This year, the winners of the 21 nominations were determined in five basic categories: People, Planet, Prosperity, Partnership and Peace. Among them were Young Influencer of the Year, Female Business Leader of the Year, and Public Figure of the Year. Casia Madera, TV presenter for BBC World News, and Andrew Wrobel, co-founder of the event, announced the winners on stage at the BluePoint Brussels convention center, near the European district of the Belgian capital.

В этом году были определены победители премии 21 номинации в пяти основоположных категориях: Люди, Планета, Процветание, Партнерство и Мир. В их числе были «Молодой инфлюенсер года», «Женский бизнес-лидер года», а также «Общественный деятель года». Касия Мадера, телеведущая BBC World News, и Эндрю Вробел, партнёр-сооснователь мероприятия, объявили победителей на сцене конференц-центра BluePoint Brussels, рядом с европейским районом столицы Бельгии. 

For the inspiring success of the Visa team in the region of Ukraine, Georgia, the CIS countries and Southeastern Europe, the constant support of women entrepreneurs and the development of the future generation of leaders, Vera Platonova was recognized as the best in the category "Female Business Leader of the Year".

За вдохновляющий успех Visa команды в регионе Украина, Грузия, стран СНГ и Юго-Восточной Европы, постоянную поддержу женщин-предпринимательниц и развитие будущего поколения лидеров, Веру Платонову признали лучшей в номинации «Женский бизнес-лидер года».

The voting process consisted of several stages. After a comprehensive selection of applicants for the nomination and open public online voting, the jury committee, as well as the team of The Future of Emerging Europe Awards, considered all candidates and made a list of those who best met the criteria.

Процесс голосования состоял из нескольких этапов. После комплексного отбора претендентов на номинацию и открытого публичного онлайн голосования, комитет жюри, а также команда The Future ofEmerging Europe Awards рассмотрела всех кандидатов и составила списки тех, кто наилучшим образом соответствует критериям.

This year, among many other nominations, the Professor Gunther Verheugen Prize for Eminent Persons for Contribution to Prosperity and Peace Outside Europe was awarded to Sir Sumi Chakrabarti, Former Head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (2012-2020). Professor Katalin Kariko (Hungary), whose work inspired the COVID-19 vaccine, has been honored with the Princess Marina Sturdza Award for Outstanding People for her contributions to prosperity, science, culture and peace.

В этом году среди множества других номинаций, премия профессора Гюнтера Ферхойгена, вручаемая видным деятелям за вклад в процветание и мир за пределами Европы, была присуждена сэру Суми Чакрабарти, бывшему руководителю Европейского банка реконструкции и развития (2012-2020). Профессор Каталин Карико (Венгрия), чья работа легла в основу вакцины против COVID-19, была удостоена премией принцессы Марины Стурдза, присуждаемой выдающимся людям за свой вклад в процветание, науку, культуру и мир.
