On December 18, we attended the opening of the «China Gold» restaurant, especially for this event the famous Russian theater and film actor, and television host, producer and musician, Igor Vernik visited Almaty,

and his smile is brought to mind more than one generation of women. He arrived at the special invitation of the Russian restaurateur Alexander Orlov, who is also the owner of the premium restaurant «Zoloto».

18 декабря мы посетили открытие ресторана «China Gold», специально для этого мероприятия в Алматы прибыл известный российский актер театра и кино, а также телеведущий, продюсер и музыкант, Игорь Верник, улыбка которого свела с ума не одного поколение женщин. Он прибыл по специальному приглашению российского ресторатора Александра Орлова, который является также владельцем ресторана премиум класса «Zoloto».

Igor Vernik about his roles

«The most favorite role - it is played last, because you put a lot of effort because you have to live this piece of life on the set, rehearsals, on stage, it becomes part of you. A month ago, at the Moscow Art Theatre, we released the performance «The Three Musketeers» in which I play Aramis. The story is not related with the one that was written by Alexander Dumas, taken only name and characters. Performance has nearly 5 hours with two intermissions, it mixed different genres. Also, lately I like the role in the television series «Later remorse» where I played a psychiatrist who is more similar to his patients than a doctor. It is interesting to play all the roles, but as a rule, positive heroes are written very definitely it is important to understand why a negative character became so bad and what happened to him, why he has such a motivation. After all, the villain has some kink, confusion of consciousness».

«Самая любимая роль – это последняя сыгранная, ведь ты отдал много сил, ведь нужно прожить этот кусок жизни, который необходимо именно прожить и на съемочной площадке, репетиции, на сцене, это становится частью тебя. Месяц назад в Московском Художественном театре мы выпустили спектакль «Мушкетеры», в котором я играю Арамиса. Эта история никак не связана с той, что написал Александр Дюма, взяты только название и герои. Спектакль идет почти 5 часов с двумя антрактами, в нем перемешаны разные жанры. Также, последнее время мне нравится роль в телесериале «Позднее раскаяние», где я сыграл психиатра, который больше похож на своих пациентов, чем на доктора. Интересно играть все, но, как правило, положительные герои написаны очень однозначно, однако, важно понять, почему отрицательный герой стал таким, что с ним произошло, от куда у него такая мотивация. Ведь в отрицательном персонаже есть какой-то излом, червоточина, смешение сознания».

Igor Vernik about an extreme

«My first trip to the Theatre Institute is the most extreme act of my life, when I was 16 years old and I took a step in this direction and said that I wanted to be an actor. Since then I have already exploded and fell down and jumped and drowned and flew, and that just did not make for the sake of filming. However, in my life I refused to jump from a bungee. In my life, I do not want any extreme; my profession had enough of this».

«Мой первый поход в театральный институт – это самый экстремальный поступок в моей жизни, мне тогда было 16 лет, и я сделал шаг в эту сторону и сказал, что хочу быть актером. С тех пор я уже и взрывался, и падал, и прыгал, и тонул, и летал, и что только не делал ради съемок, а вот в жизни, если мне скажут прыгнуть с тарзанки, то я откажусь. В жизни я экстрима не хочу никакого, в профессии достаточно этого».

Igor Vernik about food

«I do not have a favorite dish that I would like to eat every day from morning till night. I like different food: Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, I like fried potatoes with mushrooms. When I see food, I stop to think. Actually, it all depends on my mood, for example, a few days ago I arrived in the morning to the beginning of filming, I was hungry and on the set are fed «Film feed» in a plastic pot they give us a salad, soup, main, fruit compote but this dinner. On the set, there is no breakfast but there is tea, cookies and so on. And so, the woman who does it, made me an omelet, it was the first dish that came to my mind».

«У меня нет такого любимого блюда, которое я бы хотел кушать каждый день с утра до ночи. Люблю разные кухни: итальянскую, китайскую, японскую, русскую, мне нравится жареная картошечка с грибами. Когда я вижу еду, я перестаю думать. А вообще, все зависит от настроения, например, несколько дней назад я приехал с утра к началу съемок голодный, а на съемочных площадках кормят «кинокормом», то есть в пластиковых посудинах тебе дают салат, суп, второе, компот, но это обед. Как такового завтрака на съемочных площадках не бывает, зато есть чай, сушки или печенье, и так далее. И вот, женщина, которая этим занимается, приготовила мне яичницу, это было первое блюдо, которое пришло мне на ум».

Igor Vernik about priorities

«Theatre and then everything else, not only because I am serving in the theater and it is dictated by duty, but by my inner feelings. As for my music CD, then I am far advanced in this matter, almost recorded it. By the way, next week on iTunes will be my first recording, of course, the network can find my songs, but it's from the movies but so that a separate product for the first time. Actually, I started writing songs at age 16, and I always thought it was just a hobby. I write the words and music».

«Театр, а потом уже все остальное, не только потому, что я служу в театре и это продиктовано обязанностью, но и по моим внутренним ощущениям. Что же касается моего музыкального диска, то я довольно-таки далеко продвинулся в этом вопросе, почти записал его. Кстати, на следующей неделе в iTunes появится первая моя запись, конечно же, в сети можно найти мои песни, но это из кинофильмов, в которых я пел, а так, чтобы отдельный продукт, первый раз. Вообще, я начал писать песни в 16 лет, и мне всегда казалось, что это просто увлечение. Я пишу и слова, и музыку».

Igor Vernik about charity

«Yevgeny Mironov, Maria Mironova and me founded the Foundation «Artist». We provide care for older people, actors, people connected with the theater. For an older person problem, it is not only an opportunity to buy the drugs and so on and be in a state of oblivion. These are people of art, they used to be in public, they need it like the air and when they are left alone with them, they just wither. The fact that many famous people who have not scene are in such dire straits, not only financially, but also morally. We help them to express themselves and not only financially».

«Мы с Евгением Мироновым и Марией Мироновой учредили фонд «Артист», мы оказываем помощь пожилым людям, актерам, людям, связанным с театром. Для пожилого человека, часто, проблемой является не только невозможность купить себе лекарства и так далее, а оказаться в состоянии забытья, в вакууме, это же люди искусства, они привыкли быть на людях, они нуждаются в этом как воздухе, а когда они остаются один на один с собой, то они просто усыхают. Дело в том, что многие известнейшие люди, которые уже не сцене, находятся в таком отчаянном положении, не только финансовом, но и моральном. Мы помогаем им проявить себя, а не только финансово».
