What style do you prefer?

Kseniya Shklyar: "Only my mood and state dictate what style of clothes I am going to choose. I specifically don’t give to it names because more fun to hear these names from the people around me. As for example, "the sports-business style". People think out any miscellaneous, I hear it, laugh and forget. By the way, I love to mix and combine incompatible".

Какой стиль одежды вы предпочитаете?

Ксения Шкляр: "Стиль одежды мне диктуют только настроение и состояние. Сама названий специально не даю, ведь веселее слышать эти самые названия от окружающих меня людей. Как например, "спортивно-деловой стиль". Люди всякое разное придумывают, я услышу, посмеюсь и забуду. Люблю всё смешивать и совмещать как бы несовместимое".

What is your favorite brand?

Kseniya Shklyar: "Naturally, I have some favorite brands, but it doesn't mean that I am able to afford all of them. I can say- I can love something one and I put on another. I love Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Mcqueen, Rei Kawakubo (CommeDesGarcons), Yohji Yamamoto, etc. And I wear different interesting Turkish brands such as Wearejustangels or good Chinese brand MoveUp, MGGM that recently more and more difficult to find in Almaty due to lack of demand".

Ваш любимый бренд?

Ксения Шкляр: "Любимые бренды естественно есть, но это не значит, что я все могу себе позволить. Грубо скажем, люблю одно, а ношу другое. Люблю: Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Mcqueen, Rei Kawakubo (Comme Des Garcons), Yohji Yamamoto и т.д. А ношу разные интересные турецкие бренды, такие как We are just angels или хороший китайский бренд Move Up, MGGM, которые последнее время все труднее и труднее найти у нас в Алматы, по причине не востребованности".

Where do you usually buy clothes?

Kseniya Shklyar: "Well, I don’t have the favorite shops or boutiques, and the purchase of clothing, shoes and accessories I call "fishing". I.e. I go to different stores and don't know what I I'll find today or tomorrow. Sometimes it "bites", and sometimes "doesn’t bite". The period of "doesn’t bite" is often delayed, but even in this case, I don't buy transient things, I buy only those in which I fall in love. And this love is mutual and doesn't pass".

Где вы обычно покупаете одежду?

Ксения Шкляр: "Постоянных магазинчиков или отделов с одеждой у меня нет, а покупку одежды, обуви и аксессуаров я называю "рыбалкой". Т.е. я хожу по разным магазинам и не знаю, что я сегодня или завтра найду для себя. Бывает "клюет", а бывает "не клюет". Период "не клюет" часто затягивается, но даже в этом случае я не покупаю себе, так скажем, проходных вещей. Только такие, в которые я влюбляюсь. И эта любовь взаимна и не проходит".

What is the difference between your casual clothes and your look at work?

Kseniya Shklyar: "I can wear whatever I like at the work. But even if our creative department decided to make a dress code, then I would still nothing has changed".

Как отличается ваша повседневная одежда от вашего имиджа на работе?

Ксения Шкляр: "Мне повезло и на работе я могу носить всё, что мне взбредет в голову. Но даже если бы у нас в креативном отделе решили сделать дресс-код, то у меня бы все равно ничего не изменилось".

What type of clothes is prevalent in your wardrobe?

Kseniya Shklyar: "In my case nothing dominates, all clothing is amicably and peacefully. If I aim to count all trousers, dresses and skirts, it will be obvious a draw. Want to let me count right now?"

Что доминирует в вашем гардеробе?

Ксения Шкляр: "У меня в шкафу ничего не доминирует, всё как-то ровно, дружно и спокойно. Если задамся целью посчитать все брюки, платья и юбки, явно будет ничья. Хотите посчитаю прямо сейчас?"

Do you like accessories?

Kseniya Shklyar: "I feel myself naked without accessories and I can be like this only at home. I very properly put on for going outside. Words "too much" for me doesn't exist in accessories. Sometimes people ask me whether it is heavy to carry all this on myself".

Любите ли вы аксессуары?

Ксения Шкляр: "Без аксессуаров я ощущаю себя голой. А такой могу ходить только у себя дома. Поэтому, чтобы выйти на улицу, я хорошенько хорошенько одеваюсь. Слова "переборщила" с аксессуарами для меня не существует. Иногда меня спрашивают, не тяжело ли носить всё это на себе".

What do you think about the street style of our city?

Kseniya Shklyar: "And how they dress? I don’t see. I don’t perceive seriously short shorts, jeans and t-shirts. And I’m trying not to look at leopard dresses and red patent-leather boots with pointed toes".

Нравится ли вам, как одеваются люди на улицах нашего города?

Ксения Шкляр: "А как они одеваются? Я не вижу. Коротенькие шорты, джинсы и футболки, я за одежду не считаю. А на, допустим, леопардовые платья и красные лакированные сапоги с острыми носами, стараюсь не смотреть".
