Within the Louvre: The Gallery of Five Continents

The Gallery of Five Continents at the Louvre offers a profound dialogue between world cultures, transcending borders and eras. From Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania, it brings together several millennia of human creativity, placing every culture on an equal footing.

Alongside a curated selection of works from the musée du quai Branly–Jacques Chirac, the exhibition brings together objects from the Louvre Museum, the National Museum of Asian Arts – Guimet, as well as the National Maritime Museum, the National Library of France, the Museum of Aquitaine, and the Museum of Boulogne-sur-Mer. An exceptional loan from the Federal Republic of Nigeria completes this unique presentation.
