Abu Dhabi Day

On December 12, we visited an unusual event «Abu Dhabi Day», the purpose of which was to introduce Kazakhstan with the Emirate and city of Abu Dhabi, which is the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

To experience the atmosphere of this beautiful place, there were organized: Arabic bazaar, workshops, henna, photo zone, Arabic makeup, interesting entertainment program on the stage, where children's dance group running choreographer Ekaterina Gamidova performed oriental dance, and then everyone were invited to dance. It was possible to win a trip to Abu Dhabi and lovely prizes, get acquainted with the peculiarities of tourism and culture, listen to a fascinating lecture by Kazakhstan designers about shopping in Abu Dhabi and fashion trends.

12 декабря мы посетили необычное мероприятие «Abu Dhabi Day», целью которого было познакомить казахстанцев с эмиратом и городом Абу-Даби, который является столицей Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов. Чтобы окунуться в атмосферу этого прекрасного места, были организованны: арабский базар, творческие мастерские, роспись хной, фотозона, арабский макияж, интересная развлекательная программа на сцене, где детская танцевальная группа под управлением хореографа Екатерины Гамидовой исполняла восточные танцы, а затем танцевать пригласили всех желающих. Можно было выиграть путевку в Абу-Даби и милые памятные призы, ознакомиться с особенностями туризма и культуры, послушать увлекательную лекцию от казахстанских дизайнеров о шоппинге в Абу-Даби и модных тенденциях.

«Using this event we want to promote the direction of Abu Dhabi, to talk about the fact that there is such emirate and the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, where you can fine spend your vacation. Еhe emirate for active tourism, for those who come simply to bask in the sun and swim, and there will be very interesting for children and lovers of cultural monuments. In Abu Dhabi, more than 200 islands, each of which is gradually settling down. For example, Yas is the island of entertainment, among other things is famous for the largest indoor theme Ferrari park and the largest water park Yas Waterworld. On Saadiyat Island will soon be built the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Cultural Museum Sheikh Zayed that will turn this place into a cultural center of the whole of the UAE. We hope that the residents of Almaty enjoy it and they will come, because the stay in our emirate is designed mainly for families with children, it means always a high level of service, wide range of services and attractions for every taste. By the way, in Abu Dhabi, a lot of shopping malls and Yas Mall the second largest after Dubai Mall. As for activities, one of the key is the «Formula 1», it is at this stage of the race has some interesting features: first, the race takes place in the evening, and secondly, the riders go anti-clockwise. In addition, if you buy a ticket for the race, it will automatically get to the concerts of world stars, which are held in the evening’s race weekend. Of course, we hope that this event will give impetus to the people interested in it that they conceived the idea of holidays in Abu Dhabi».

«При помощи этого мероприятия мы хотим популяризировать направление Абу-Даби, рассказать о том, что существует такой эмират и город-столица Объединенных Арабских Эмиратов, где можно замечательно провести свой отпуск: эмират подходит для активного туризма, для тех, кто приехал просто погреться на солнце и покупаться, а также здесь будет очень интересно детям и любителям памятников культуры. В Абу-Даби более 200 островов, каждый из которых постепенно обустраивается. Например, остров развлечений Яс среди прочего славится самым большим крытым тематическим парком Феррари и самым крупным аквапарком Яс Вотерворлд, а на остове Саадият скоро построится Лувр Абу-Даби, Гуггенхайм Абу-Даби и Культурный музей шейха Зайеда, что превратит это место в культурный центр всего ОАЭ. Мы надеемся, что жителям Алматы понравится, и они будут приезжать, ведь отдых в нашем эмирате предназначен преимущественно для семей с детьми, а это значит всегда высокий уровень сервиса, широкий спектр услуг и достопримечательности на любой вкус. Кстати, в Абу-Даби очень много шоппинг молов, а Яс Мол второй по площади после Дубаи Мола. Что же касается мероприятий, то одно из основных – это «Формула 1», именно у этого этапа гонки есть интересные особенности: во-первых, гонка происходит в вечернее время, во-вторых, гонщики едут против часовой стрелки. Кроме того, если Вы покупаете билет на гонку, то автоматически попадаете на концерты звезд мировой величины, которые проводятся по вечерам гоночного уикенда. Конечно, мы надеемся, что это мероприятие даст толчок, что люди заинтересуются, что у них зародится мысль об отпуске в Абу-Даби».
