Tiger is tiger is a tiger is a tiger

Tiger is tiger is a tiger is a tiger

by Aytan Mouradova

In Paris, the gallery Galerie Dix9 opened a personal exhibition of Azerbaijani artist Farhad Farzali called "Tiger is tiger is a tiger is a tiger". Combining traditional culture and folk aesthetics, the young artist combined in his performance national folklore, pagan past, elements of hunting and clothing with coded symbols of the past, reflected in colorful panels with an ancient miniature style and animated anthropomorphism. The exposition is a kind of anthropological analysis in which wild nature and the image created by a woman literally compete with each other. And the ecological subtext lies in the fact that the artist seems to be trying to return the woman's "tiger" clothes back to the animal itself. The exhibition will run until February 27th.
