LEGO Education Afterschool Programs held an open lesson «Harmonious development of the child's personality» in Almaty

On October 18, the LEGO Education Afterschool Programs Training Centers Network (LEAS Supplementary Education Programs), together with the LEAS official partner in Kazakhstan, the Open Innovations Center, conducted an open lesson for journalists and bloggers on the topic «Harmonious development of the child’s personality: the LEGO Education approach». The purpose of the lesson was to demonstrate the unique methods of additional education developed by LEGO Education. The speakers of the event were Zarina Akisheva, General Director of Open Innovations LLP and Timur Makazhanov, a leading teacher-psychologist of the center, and qualified teachers who had been trained in the LEGO Education Afterschool Programs Training Centers conducted lessons with children. They told about the unique international methodology of additional education LEGO Education, demonstrated how classes are held, what programs are presented in the center, explained how they influence the development of children and how they help to master the subjects of the school program. Since 1980, LEGO Education has been providing practical resources through training courses for teachers and students around the world. All educational materials are developed by international specialists in the field of education and are used only in official LEGO Education Afterschool Programs training centers. They aim to inspire the teacher and his students to create an educational gaming environment, encouraging the natural desire of children for curiosity and teamwork. The training system in LEAS centers is based on such a powerful “motivator”.

18 октября Сеть Учебных центров LEGO Education Afterschool Programs (Программы дополнительного образования LEAS) совместно с официальным партнером LEAS в Казахстане, центром «Открытые инновации», провели открытый урок для журналистов и блогеров на тему «Гармоничное развитие личности ребенка: подход LEGO Education». Целью занятия была демонстрация уникальных методик дополнительного образования, разработанных LEGO Education. Спикерами мероприятия выступили Зарина Акишева, генеральный директор ТОО «Открытые инновации» и Тимур Макажанов, ведущий педагог-психолог центра, а уроки с детьми провели квалифицированные педагоги, прошедшие обучение в Учебных центрах LEGO Education Afterschool Programs. Они рассказали об уникальной международной методике дополнительного образования LEGO Education, продемонстрировали как проходят занятия, какие программы представлены в центре, разъяснили как они влияют на развитие детей и как помогают осваивать предметы школьной программы.
