«Romeo and Juliet» with the stars of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia

The festival is organized by ArtClassic with the support of akimat of Almaty. Presentations were made by international stars of the Bolshoi Theatre, The Paris Opera Ballet and American Ballet Theatre.

3,4 и 5 февраля в дни зимней Универсиады в Казахском в Государственном академическом театре оперы и балета имени Абая состоялся Международный балетный фестиваль - Ballet Globe. Фестиваль организован компанией ArtClassic при поддержке акимата г.Алматы. Выступили мировые звезды балета Большого театра, Парижской Оперы и Американского театра балета.

February 3 spectators enjoyed the performance ballet «Giselle» at the music A. Adan, with Etoile of the Paris Opera Ballet Josua Hoffalt and prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Evgenia Obraztsova. February 4 has been successfully shown the iconic ballet «Swan Lake», P. Tchaikovsky, in which the main roles were performed by the brightest stars of the American Ballet Theatre first soloist Devon Teuscher and principal dancer Cory Stearns. The performance is presented with the support of the US Consulate General in Almaty.

3 февраля зрители наслаждались балетным спектаклем «Жизель» на музыку А.Адана, с участием этуаля Парижской Оперы Жозуа Хоффальта и прима-балерины Большого театра России Евгении Образцовой. 4 февраля с успехом был показан культовый балет «Лебединое озеро» П.И. Чайковского, в котором главные партии исполнили ярчайшие звезды Американского театра балета ведущая солистка Девон Туше и премьер Кори Стернз. Спектакль представлен при поддержке Генерального консульства США в г. Алматы.

And February 5th Almaty residents and visitors amazed beloved play «Romeo and Juliet» by Sergei Prokofiev, involving prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Nina Kaptsova and principal dancers Michail Lobukhin and Artem Ovcharenko.

И 5 февраля алматинцев и гостей города поразил всеми любимый спектакль «Ромео и Джульетта» С.С.Прокофьева, c участием прима-балерины Большого театра России Нины Капцовой и премьеров Михаила Лобухина и Артема Овчаренко.

Artem Ovcharenko and Nina Kaptsova many critics have called one of the best «Romeo and Juliet», the duo is so organic in the scene and love that show Artem and Nina seem touching, immediate, real. Very bright and memorable Tybalt started by Michail Lobukhin, Mercutio, whose role Rustem Imangaliev. Mercutio is light, nonchalant virtuosity and air. The ballet «Romeo and Juliet» is a story of extraordinary love, which is opposed to the harsh reality. The play immediately impresses with Tybalt, who expresses his emotions in a martial dance, that he divides people on the square into two warring camps, the red color of the Capulets, who expresses rebellious clan. The romantic mood of the viewer who is watching «Romeo and Juliet» overshadowed by the shadow of constant threat. And now, the tragic denouement, Brother Lorenzo gives Juliet soporific drink, so she agrees to the marriage with Paris and she starts seeing - a figure swathed in white robes with a lily in their hands, by the way, guests of the Capulets in the hands of the same lily. As for the ending, there is no reconciliation Montagues and Capulets, after the tragic death of the lovers curtain falls, leaving the crying audience to draw conclusions from the saddest love story.

Артема Овчаренко и Нину Капцову многие критики называют одними из лучших «Ромео и Джульеттой», их дуэт настолько органичен на сцене, что любовь, которую показывают Артем и Нина кажется трогательной, непосредственной, настоящей. Очень яркими и запоминающимися также стали Тибальд в исполнении Михаила Лобухина, Меркуцио, в роли которого Рустем Имангалиев. Меркуцио легкий, виртуозно беспечный и воздушный. Балет «Ромео и Джульетта» - это история необыкновенной любви, которая противостоит суровой реальности.  В спектакле сразу же впечатляет Тибальд, который выражает свои эмоции в воинственном танце, именно он разделяет людей на площади на два враждующих лагеря, цвет Капулетти красный, который выражает воинственную настроенность клана. Романтический настрой зрителя, который наблюдает за Ромео и Джульеттой омрачен тенью постоянной угрозы. И вот, трагическая развязка, Брат Лоренцо дает Джульетте снотворный напиток, поэтому она соглашается на брак с Парисом и у нее начинаются видения – фигуры, закутанные в белые одеяния с лилиями в руках, кстати, у гостей Капулетти в руках тоже лилии. Что же касается концовки, то здесь нет примирения Монтеки и Капулетти, после трагический гибели влюбленных занавес опускается, оставляя плачущему зрителю самому сделать выводы из самой печальной истории любви.
