The national VI contest for young designers which is called «Open Way» was held during to the Kazakhstan Fashion Week.

Already for several years it gives a unique chance for talented young designers. Our team visited the final of the competition on October 17. 20 finalists created a commercial collection of ready-to-wear spring-summer 2017. Contestants were evaluated by the jury which included the dean of the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), designer, constructor and technologist Andrea Tosi and the most important people of the fashion industry of Kazakhstan, Zhadyra Sahieva (Jado brand), editorial director PROfashion Asia Kazakhstan Milena Ershova, fashion-director of «Elle Kazakhstan» Svetlana Sohoreva, chief editor of the Fashion Collection Kazakhstan Assel Zoe, publisher and chief editor of «Syrlasu» Kamshat Akimkozhakyzy, director of beauty «ArtEast » Gulbarshin Zairova, Tamara Lamanukaeva (brand Tamara Lamanukaeva), Lariya Jakambayeva (brand One to One), a representative of the boutique« Fashion Park », Zhanar Suleimenova.

В рамках недели моды Kazakhstan Fashion Week состоялся VI национальный конкурс молодых дизайнеров «Open Way», который уже на протяжении нескольких лет дает дорогу в жизнь талантливым молодым дизайнерам. Мы посетили финал конкурса 17 октября. 20 финалистов создали коммерческую коллекцию прет-а-порте сезона весна-лето 2017. Оценивали конкурсантов жюри, в составе которого декан Итальянского института дизайна, модельер, конструктор и технолог (Instituto Europio di Design) Андреа Тоси и самые главные представили модной индустрии Казахстана. А именно: Жадыра Сахиева (бренд Jado), редакционный директор PROfashion Kazakhstan Милена Ершова, fashion-директор «Elle Казахстан» Светлана Сохорева, главный редактор Fashion Collection Kazakhstan Асель Зои, издатель и главный редактор журнала «Сырласу» Камшат Акимкожакызы, директор салона красоты «ArtEast» Гульбаршин Заирова, Тамара Ламанукаева (бренд Tamara Lamanukaeva), Лария Джакамбаева (бренд One to One), представитель бутика «Fashion Park», Жанар Сулейменова.

Of the 300 applications to the finals were held: Abdildaeva Saltanat, Absatarova Burula (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), Azerbaeva Victoria, Asadulina Aigul (Saint-Petersburg, Russia), Dauletkan Alua, Dzhumatayeva Zhuldyzay, Dzhumasheva Gulira (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), Dihanbaeva Akmaral, Duymagambetova Nurgul, Esmuhanov Sunkar, Zhanibekova Gulnara, Kaskenova Aknur, Kireyeva Raushan, Kozhabekova Samal, Momysheva Dina, Pavlova Radmila, Turebekova Asel, Shataeva Madina, Shoukenova Samga and creative tandem Kemelbaeva Asel and Kurmangazina Marjane.

Из 300 заявок в финал прошли: Абдилдаева Салтанат, Абсатарова Бурула (Бишкек, Кыргыстан), Азербаева Виктория, Асадулина Айгуль (Санкт-Петербург, Россия), Даулеткан Алуа, Джуматаева Жулдызай, Джумашева Гулира (Бишкек, Кыргыстан), Диханбаева Акмарал, Дуймагамбетова Нургуль, Есмуханов Сункар, Жанибекова Гульнара, Каскенова Акнур, Киреева Раушан, КожабековаСамал, Момышева Дина, Павлова Радмила, Туребекова Асель, Шатаева Мадина, Шоукенова Самга и творческий тандем КемельбаевойАсель и Курмангазиной Маржан.

According to the designer, the technologist, the European Institute of Design dean Andrea Tosi three of the best designer will go to a summer internship at the Instituto Europio di Design in Milan, Florence and Rome. The names of the lucky ones: Asel Turebekova (Almaty), Sunkar Esmuhanov (Almaty) and Burula Absatarova (Bishkek). The winner of the Open Way in 2016 and the Grand Prix, unanimously, by the opinion of the jury, was the Sunkar Esmuhanov. He received a grant to create his own collection and the ability to show it on the Kazakhstan Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2017-2018. Also present their work at KFW will: Zhuldyzay Zhumataeva and Radmila Pavlova. A great number of prizes and gifts from the official partners of the project participants also received.

Три лучших дизайнера по мнению модельера, технолога, декана Европейского института дизайна Андреа Този, поедут на летнюю стажировку в Instituto Europio di Design в Милан, Флоренцию и Рим. Имена счастливчиков: Асель Туребекова (Алматы), Сункар Есмуханов (Алматы) и Бурула Абсатарова (Бишкек). Победителем Open Way 2016 и обладателем гран-при, единогласно, по мнению жюри, стал Сункар Есмуханов. Он получил грант на создание собственной коллекции и возможность показать ее на Kazakhstan Fashion Week сезона осень-зима 2017-2018. Также представить свои работы на KFW смогут: Жулдызай Жуматаева и Радмила Павлова. Огромное количество призов и подарков участники получили от официальных партнеров проекта.

For the first time at Kazakhstan Fashion Week was the collection of children's clothes from the brand Mimioriki.

There was the collection of brand JADO, consisting of men's garments in the national style and feminine evening dresses that reflect the aristocracy and luxury Kazakh national dress with a modern interpretation.
