Reviewed by our expert Olga Hodoreva: « I was lucky that I did not read any of a review of the movie before I watched it.  Because of all the reviews are negative. Russian cinema critics criticized describing women's participation in World War I because of artificiality, templates, bad taste. I do not see anything wrong in the film. I looked patriotic, but a very strong movie about real women who managed to ignite, already extinct, the fire of faith in the victory in the eyes of men. I saw a very beautiful women, who withvery short hair, throwing off the whole shell, such as skirts, heels, jewelry, reveal themselves ... I really cried all tearful scenes of the movie, and when I left the cinema, I still could not forget the scene when the heroine of  Maria Aronova was beaten by her husband.  It hurts me so far. I do not recommend watching the movie for those who have scars on the heart. Because one scar will be more! But I recommend to those who love (what a strange word in this context) movies about the war».
